  1. View File SWTOR Revan Voice Mod for Male PC Experience the Male Revan, with the voice of Jeff Bennett who portrayed him SW:TOR, while retaining his lighthearted nature from KOTOR and authoritative persona from SW:TOR. Introducing as my first mod: SW:TOR Revan Voice Mod! I definitely know this is one of the mods people have been waiting for. Rino Romano, the original voice of Revan, did a fantastic job in the game. But have you ever asked yourself or wanted your character to sound like SW:TOR’s version that’s voiced by Jeff Bennett? (Who’s also the voice of Kyle Katarn). Well with the power from Elevenlabs & Play.ht, now you can! In the first Knights of the Old Republic (KOTOR) game, Revan is the central figure whose story filled with secrets and epic adventures captivated players across the galaxy. A true force to be reckoned with, Revan was a formidable Jedi Knight, renowned for his exceptional skills and leadership. However, destiny took an unexpected turn when Revan fell to the dark side, becoming a Sith Lord of great power and influence. This profound transformation led to Revan's pivotal role in shaping most of the Old Republic universe. With this mod, you have the chance to embody a slightly younger version of Revan's voice that preserves the character's essence from both KOTOR and SW:TOR. Experience Male Revan, with the voice of Jeff Bennett while retaining the balance of lighthearted comedic nature and commanding authority, reflecting the revered figure Revan we know and love!!! Happy 20th Anniversary to KOTOR and May the Force be with you! All Voice Lines Installation (READ VERY IMPORTANT): Download the zip file and open it. Select all of the .wav files and put them inside the streamsounds folder in KOTOR directory. (DO NOT PLACE THEM IN OVERRIDE) (DO NOT PUT THE OPTIONAL FOLDER INSIDE STREAMSOUNDS. See step 3.) If you do not wish to use the optional sounds then skip to step 6. (OPTIONAL) If you WANT the optional files then continue but open the optional folder. There are three folders: Security Failure, Critical Hit, and Mine Placement. You may only have ONE security failure file in the streamsounds folder. (OPTIONAL) Choose one of the security failure options. The folder will tell you what he’ll say. Place *only one* of the .wav files inside the streamsounds folder. (OPTIONAL) If you want to use the other critical hit and mine placement or just one of them then place the .wav file in streamsounds. If it says a file exists with that name or to overwrite then just hit ok or replace. Paste the backup folder into your streamsounds folder and you’re all set! Uninstall: Use the backup folder I provided and copy all the files inside the backup folder and paste them into your streamsounds folder. Other Information: Your character will no longer make sound when getting hit and dying in combat. I have intentionally removed these lines as the OG voice does not fit with Jeff’s voice. If you’ve played KOTOR 2 then this likely won’t bother you! However, this may be solved in a future version. Compatibility: I doubt it will affect anything important that doesn’t mess with player male files in streamsounds. 3. View File [TSL] "T3-M4 Found the Ebon Hawk"s Theme This mod plays an ambient-track to complement "T3 finding the Ebon Hawk" cutscene in Peragus' Hangar Bay. Preview Description It edits the entire cutscene to not-skippable, then sets the ambient-track to `mus_s_positive` -- an original audio file that’s located in `streammusic` folder. It also stops the area BGM momentarily for 11 seconds to not have the AT overlaps with, should then it play back again. Requirement It is required for users to have TSLRCM v1.8.6 installed to their game for this mod to successfully working – both in installation process and in-game. K2CP is not strictly-required, but is strongly-suggested to have as well as this mod were made with CP’s compatibility in-mind. Compatibility Should be optimally-compatible with any mods and builds -- long as not affecting `hangcam.DLG` and `mus_s_positive.WAV/MP3`. Note: It is safe now for user to install this version on top of any currently installed version. It supersedes and overrides their functionality so compatibility is much ensured. ** -- for installation instructions, run the installer [Install.EXE]. Known Issues N/A Final Remarks There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! 5. View File [K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix [K1] Tariga Gender on Tamlen DLG Fix This mod will fix the inconsistency with one of the Sith Student/Tamlen dialogue which describe Tariga as a female/she while in fact [by appearance and gender-check] Tariga is a male/he. In dialogue with Tamlen he will describe Tariga as a "he" now. In addition to that, this mod will also change Tamlen's display name to his specific [formerly Sith Student]. Don't worry about the voice-overs inconsistency; this mod takes care of that. It will now heard as "he" instead of "she", in addition to the aforementioned text fix. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- With v1.0.0 release I aim to have the mod its standalone LIP, to perfectly incorporate the lip-sync. The current version fits very well with the vanilla LIP in use - though started from the change which is "he" section, there's a fraction of milliseconds differences between the lip and the VO. There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe] then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! This will adds new entries to your game's dialog.tlk - where they stored strings of dialogues for the game. If you didn't wish the mod to do so you may want to cancel the installation This only been tested with the English version of the game; it is full working and leave no unwanted bugs whatsoever, so be advised then Uninstallation: run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe], and choose Uninstall option. Also, by keeping the installlog after the installation will help you to track which files goes to where Compatibility: will be compatible with mostly anything that is on the surface by now, though it won't be compatible with mods that share the same scope with it. For assurance of this mod to work, just install this mod much later after every mods has, or try to avoid mods that force-overrides shared content with this mod For this mod to be fully effective you should at least load a saved game before entering the Sith Academy [korr_m35aa] module The mod was play-tested with KotOR 1 Restoration/K1R and K1:Community Patch/K1CP installed and is compatible with them Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. And be kindly; give credits to where it's due. 7. Greetings, fellow Jedi! May the Force be with you all. I had troubles extracting/playing the audio files from K2/TSL; particularly ones from the 'StreamSounds' folder. With K1, I can do the trick with changing the extension to MP3 and then drag-droppin' a file to the track grid [I'm using FLStudio on my attempt]. But not with TSL's. I have tried with using The Miles Sound System v7.1 to decompress but it says the program didn't have the codec to perform the action and I can't find the related codec as far as I'm searchin'. I also tried with the BAT tools I grabbed from this thread; it creates the converted MP3, but can't be played nor edited afterwards. Are there any solution for the matter? What I'm looking to do: Listen to the audio outside of the game [I'm a new-avid fan of Entertainment Module 081 Cantina's BGM lol]. I'm looking to have a replacement music for the Nar Shaddaa's Entertainment Promenade, so I think I will have to guess the corresponding file [TSL naming their files like some kind of hieroglyph]. Many thanks for considering this!
  8. View File [K1] Song for the Cantina This mod change the background music [BGM] played inside Javyar's Cantina. -= BACKGROUND =- For me who playthrough most of Taris' side-quests, spending ~80% of the time in the cantina is inevitable -- reporting to Zax about the bounties, hunting credits from dueling, and maybe just to crashes on the sofa while enjoying the view of all the hot chicks inside the cantina is always a routine. But then at one moment I wanted to hear something new around the room, so I was thinking; why not make one? Influenced by a mod which change the cantina music to the classic piece from "A New Hope" and a reddit user; RomMitney, whom made some really cool cantina style one, this mod was made then. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- This mod change the background music [BGM] played inside Javyar's Cantina to a custom one I made. At the time I was heavily-influenced with Lo-Sci-Fi stuffs -- something like world of Cyberpunk with lesser fidelity I wrote and created the song using FL Studio 12 PE. The song itself called "Tainted Love" With this installed you will have every cantina [module] in the game their own unique BGM Easter Egg: The song is included in "Lower City Movement #3", the third issues from a compilation of Lower City obscure artists which is released in 4001 BBY -- Included are two installation options; MP3 and WAV format that are needed depending on which version of the game. GOG/retail version should be good with the game's native WAV format -- however, there are also Steam and mobile-version of the game which--from what I recall--need it as an MP3. -- provided as well a user-friendly uninstaller for best compatibility purpose. -= KNOWN ISSUES =- N/A at the time it was tested -- let me know if you find some. -= FINAL REMARKS =- This mod work best with Sith Holocron's "Animated Cantina Sign for KotOR 1" installed, as the animated-broken-blipping-sign gives you that lively feeling inside the cantina so, I'd recommend you to use that mod in conjunction with this. 10. No clickbait intended So, after reading some very constructive discussion between @JCarter426 @Kexikus and @DarthParametric in @VarsityPuppet's Ajunta Pall WIP thread, I'm having a little understanding of- why Mono channel would better be implemented rather than Stereo channel for Action, Force Powers, Blasters, and Lightsabers Sound FXs on this game [and I believe in other games too]. It is relevant for the said example to use Mono channel, because- for example, we would want to hear a humming sound of lightsaber on the left side of the speaker when the camera is facing right [something to do with voice panning- if I recall correctly] won't we? And those would not be possible with Stereo channel I'd supposed. The exception would be for dialogue VO on cutscenes- I believe those would be most suitable for Stereo channeled .WAVs or .MP3s as the reason is obvious; for immersion purpose and deep mental involvement of contexts been told. Personally, I am still hoping that Stereo channeled SFXs would be possible to be utilized in-game as me and @CarthOnasty having a plan to alter the Star Map opening sound; to something different than vanilla. The sound has been made, but is still in Mono channel now. Thank you for reading this [if you have been reading this]. Cheers, and may the Force be with you 🙏
  11. Greetings, fellow Jedi! I am in an attempt to do Darth Revan's voice filter like the one heard on SW:ToR- this one in particular: Republic Shadow of Revan Ending; and I would like to share with you how the progress going- along with this tutorial. The program I am using is FL Studio 12 Producer Edition and I assume that every filters I am using on said attempt is possibly available and/or close-to-similar with every audio-editing program out there. I also attached some screen caps to help clear things up. So, let's start then! You would need two (2) layers of voices to work on to. In my attempt, both voices are un-pitched. The purple layer goes to Mixer channel 1, and then the red layer goes to Mixer Channel 2, like this- I am sure you were all aware about Mixer already; "All audio in FL Studio passes through the Mixer. Unless specifically directed, newly added Channels are routed to the Master Mixer Track" - support. Mixer in FL Studio would looked like this- Now- with the 1st layer, you would want a Multiband Compressor, a Hardcore Modulator and a Stereo Shaper. Theoretically, what you wanted to do with Multiband Compressor is to cut the high and middle frequencies. Hardcore modulating is much effortless, turn the rate level to its fullest until you hear the voice "rattling". Stereo Shaper was only to set the output to Mono [Yes- if there's a "set to mid" mix preset available, choose that!]. Assuming you're done with the 1st layer- goes to the 2nd then. With the 2nd, you would want a Multiband Compressor, a Chorus filter and a Wave Shaper [This one is important]. Theoretically, what you wanted to do with Multiband Compressor is cut the low frequencies and keep some high frequencies as you like [You could say the 2nd layer EQ setup is an anomaly to the 1st layer]. With Chorus filter on, set the speed and intensity level as much as possible [I kept width level to zero]. Goes to the essential part; Wave Shaping. This one is pretty cosmetic, but essential for Darth Revan's voice [imagine Gal Gadot; she's pretty, but without make-up she no Wonder Woman] - and I can't guarantee you a clean and clear instruction here because the plug-in is just a wave form. What you would wanted to do with it is to have the voice to produce some kind of noises; like a clipping sounds [when the level of a sound reach above 5db- that "broken" sound which we were searching for]. Done with both layers, and we are done with everything. No plug-in added to the Master channel there so.. considered it is a wrap then! The very last phase is to exporting the project; either to .WAV, .MP3, .OGG, .FLAC or etc. Your choice! But assuming you want to use it in-game, you would want to export the project either to .WAV or .MP3- mandatorily to .WAV just to be safe. Can't guarantee we have the same result here- as different program could means different result [even using the same one didn't have its warranty]. But hey, who knows your result is better right? And it should be! If you have any questions- just ask, PM me, or anything. I'd be glad to assist! Also, any constructive feedbacks is very much appreciated- as I am still and will always be in learning process too! Good luck with the attempt, may the Force be with you! Attached below is an end-result of this attempt. Keep in mind both the tutorial and/or the result is far from perfect, but self-assured; They are on the right track.
  12. File Name: Malkior's Kotor 2 Sound Collection File Submitter: Malkior File Submitted: 26 Jul 2014 File Category: Mods TSLRCM Compatible: Yes This is my first foray into sound editing, so please be gentle.. :' The story begins where I really hated the canned sound that the thunder makes when it's playing on Dxun. It may get the job done, but it just sounded so underwhelming to me. I went into a sound editor and added a few bass filters until, voila! I had a thunder not only loud, but with my subwoofer, of a great amount of impact. Anyway, after a quick tour of the Kotor 2 sound files, I found a few of the files that I felt needed an audio boost or overall change and changed them. Thus compends this semi-comprehensive collection of all of the sounds I've edited over the years. To Install: Just drop whichever files you like into your Override folder To Uninstall: Remove the files listed in the TSLPatchData folder from your Override folder Compatibility: This is compatible with any mod that doesn't have audio files with the same name Permissions: Please let me know if you are going to use these sound files in your mod Credit: Lucasarts for making Kotor and Kotor 2, Both Obsidian and Bioware for working on them, The Audacity sound editor team, and the constant support and assistance from the DeadlyStream community which has kept me modding, Also George Lucas who created Star Wars from the get-go Click here to download this file
