  1. I have a few points with KOTOR that I am trying to resolve. First, in the dialogue files such as the one attached below, do you know what Old Hit Check means and what it does? I want to know in case it is something that I might want to deselect. Second, I know on Manaan that you have equip a special diving suit to venture out underwater. Do you know if this can be changed with a mod or is hardwired into the game? I ask because I know there is a mod that allows you to take your party with you so I am hoping that I can keep the armor, headgear, and weapons that I normally have my character wear. Finally I want to know how to change the outfit for Bastilla. What I mean is that after she is taken by Malak and turns to the Dark Side she is shown wearing a black Jedi Robe. I want to know how to change her outfit so she will be wearing what I equip her with when she is in my party. For example, when she joins my party I will equipping her was a Blaster Cannon rather than a lightsaber and the Verpine Zal Alloy Mesh armor rather than robes. I want her to still be carrying, using, and wearing those items during the scene where Malak starts to entice her and when my character encounters her on the Unknown World and Star Forge System. I have edited the appearance.2da file by adding a new line (Line 509) changed the modules lines to the outfit I want. I have attached it here so you can see it. Please tell me if I am wrong anywhere. Now I need to know which columns to edit and how to give her the miscellaneous items and weapon I want. Also I absolutely want her to be wearing a headgear item so which columns do I edit for that. If I need to create new columns for these results how do I do that? Then after I have the appearance.2da file set I will edit the appearance lines in the Bastila.utc files to give the appearance I want. Does that sound right to all of you? Can you please tell me how to do all this? I am willing to take another look but I need to know what I am looking for. Is there another file that I need to be using? Hopefully by looking at them you can tell me where I went wrong. Also I am asking all of you to please check my other forum about editing placeables at the link below. I am having trouble getting a metal-box container to spawn by script, especially in the place I want it to. Perhaps you can tell me what I am doing wrong. Unfortunately, the Sith disguise you get in the game isn’t very good stats wise and you can’t keep it without cheats. For my second playthrough I decided to make my own set. Which then got me started on modifying the Sith weapons and its now become an entire armory. First, I would recommend using A Future Pilot’s “Sith Soldier Texture Restoration” as the item description for the Sith Elite Armor is tailored for a game where the chrome Sith armor is relatively rare. I also think it is just a good mod that stylistically makes more sense. However, it will still work if you don’t use his mod; you’ll just have three armors that are chrome instead of just one. I tried to strike a balance when creating the stats, so while they aren’t the best you can obtain in the game, they are in the high-end. I have also given lore descriptions for everything, if anybody cares about that sort of thing. As of version 2.0, you can now find all the items in-game. The specific locations are stated in the Readme. I have also modified the Manaan Sith Base. Commander Grann now is force sensitive and wears the Elite armor. The room past the water chambers now contains the Sith Ambassador and two Praetorian bodyguards (both of whom are dark Jedi). There is also a Lite version for those who don’t want the enemies modified, though this will not allow you to find the Elite and Praetorian Armors until Leviathan. WARNING: There is a visual bug where, while wearing the armor, the game will change your appearance so that even if you take it off, you will still appear to be in the armor. This is a bug that occurs with all items with the "Disguise" property and it is unknown exactly what causes it. If this occurs and you want to fix it: unequip the armor, download the SaveGame Editor, and change your appearance back to what it was before. Note: in future versions, the installation will be done through the installer. Description: This modification gives you a new look at the Khoonda Militia and equipment commanders of mercenaries. New types of Khoonda Militia armor and mercenaries are added, and the inventory of some NPCs is updated. * Version 1.2.0 * Added Echani. Now some commanders of mercenaries will be representatives of this race. Onderonian Military Gear: Consisting of an Armor and Headgear you can find these items on the Onderonian Scouts on Dxun and are dropped by their leader Beast Rider Flight Suit: Worn by all of the beast riders now, it uses a cut texture and is dropped by Bakkel Mandalorian Items: A Headgear and a Belt dropped from the Mandalorian Sentry at the start of Dxun and Daveral Ancient Sith Gauntlets: Found on Freedan Nadd's mummified corpse at the end of Freedan Nadd's tomb Mandalore's Mask: Restores an item called Mandalore's Mask to the game. It can be removed and given to other party members but it won't affect the appearance of Mandalore or will it change your party member's appearance in any special way as it uses a vanilla texture.   11. I am working with SpaceAlex's K1 Enhancement Pack and while I like how some of the armors look, there are others that I don't like. Particularly his version of the Bronzium Light Battle Armor and the Enviromental Bastion Armor. Inside my override folder are several textures and .mdl and .mdx files. How do I know which files are associated with which armor sets?
  12. After spending nearly two days reading forum posts and messing around with appearance.2da, p_baodur.utc and multiple .uti files I've made little progress in achieving my goal. What I've been trying to do is getting Bao Dur to wear http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/271-exile-sith-armors/. From multple posts on this forum I understood that the only way to get him to wear an armor without editing models so his arm is present (which I really don't care for) is to remove the restriction, and it seems the only way to do so is by changing his subspecies from "Zabrak" to "None" in his .utc(?) but when I save the .utc it doesn't save the subspecies edit. I've even tried reverse engineering http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/741-bao-dur-wears-jedi-robes/ to see if I could replicate that effect with a different model but I haven't a clue what most things in appearance.2da even mean. I'm probably doing something wrong, I'm not really experienced in this type of modding. If anyone could help I thank you in advance, this has me on the verge of pulling my hair out x(

I should note that the most advanced modding I can do is using KSE or porting basic models from Kotor 1 to Kotor 2, so my ability to create any of these ideas is sadly out of the question...   24. Hi guys! Is it possible to combine the master robes cloak (only the cloak) with the heavy armor model? I realize there is already a mod like this, but I would like the cloak´s sleeve to be complete, not just half sleeves; and the armor to not show the master robe flaps in the waist area.
