  1. A friend of mine recently requested that I make the unused bearded Canderous head a select able PC head in K1 and TSL, I told him that I can't port models to K1 yet due to lack of experience. But that I would happily attempt to get it working in TSL... Welp, that didn't work out well. I extracted the head, it's texture, and all the other files that I needed to extract. I renamed the head to replace the Obi-Wan looking guy. And.... this happened. But hey, despite the fact I unleashed a borderline Lovecraftian horror into the world of Star wars. At least it's progress!
  2. I'm giving my TSL a much needed visual fresh-up. Peragus turned out fine, and I'm doing exactly the same with Telos (more exactly, grass and dirt), but Telos' files don't change in the game. * I'm using Kotor Tool to extract game textures from the ERFs. * I edit them in Photoshop CS2 (really just pasting over) and save them as .tga. * I'm making sure to merge all layers. * I'm saving in a custom folder in Override. Works fine for Peragus, but not for Telos. Not when I save them in different folders, the same folder, or put them directly in Override. Any ideas?
  3. To any modders on this Reddit, I have a brilliant idea for a mod. Someone/group should make a mod where we Zayne Carrick appears in KOTOR 1 and 2 on different locations. He was a fan favorite in those KOTOR comics and I always wish we see him appear or least mention in those games; it's those cases where I wish the comic came out before the game. I want to know what happens
  4. View File Terentateks in TSL *********************************** Knights of the Old Republic II *********************************** TITLE: Terentateks in TSL AUTHOR: LDR DATE: 6/17/18 FILENAME: terentatek_tsl FILESIZE: 2 MB -------------------------- INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS -------------------------- Simply put the all the files in the override folder into the Override folder in your KOTOR II directory. To uninstall, remove the files from the KOTOR II directory. ------------ Permissions ------------ As I intend for this to be used as a modder's resource, all material included can be used in your own mods without asking for permission beforehand. Just mention me in your readme. ------------ DESCRIPTION ------------ Of all the things Obsidian chose to keep in the KOTOR II game files, leaving out terentateks was just a travesty. This mod brings them back, with one on Korriban and one on Dxun. On Korriban, just make sure to loot the half-eaten corpse in the beginning of the shyrack cave module. ----- BUGS ----- None I hope. If you find any please post them in the comments. I will address them as soon as I can. ------- Credits ------- Fred Tetra for his very useful KotOR Tool. JCarter426 for compiling my scripts for me. The DeadlyStream staff and community. The staff for allowing porting between games, and the community for still making KOTOR relevant after 15+ years. I love and appreciate you all. 5. Hi everyone! I started playing this series again on my original Xbox and I'm having a wonderful time with KOTOR I, it's beautiful to go through the game as a more mature person and have a marvelous time enjoying the subtle details, it really makes me appreciate the effort many people did in order to give us an unforgettable experience. (I'm as corny as Kansas in August, sorry, I just can't help it D': ) Anyways, I still have a long way till KOTOR II, and I know it's easier and more enjoyable to play it on PC, but I would really want to play it on the console (I know it may sound stupid, I know, but I've always played this game on PC with the restored content. I really want to dig into unknown realms and live the experience as it hit the shelfs, on console and everything. As a matter of fact, I think I've enjoyed more KOTOR on Xbox than in PC) . My only problem (aside from missing the restored content from PC) it's that, when I played KOTOR II for the first time, I started the game with a Bastila's head on PC, and it has been a tradition for me since then. Installing mods on Xbox it's just not a problem for me, I know how to and where to put the files. My concerns are related to crashing the game, because I've read that you'll have problems installing model files and things like that. I'm not sure if it's safe to put any file of Bastila's head mods (for PC) on the game (which they usually have TSL patchers) or if there are other ways of handling the situation. Of course I've searched for info on the topic, but it seems that most things related to Xbox Kotor games have virtually dissapeared. For what I've gathered, the easier way of getting mods was to download a save file and FTP it to your console. I've found many useful sites, but unfortunately they are mostly offline. For example, most Xbox users refered to Storm Singer~~Vox Angel blog in Windstream, but it's offline making the files dead. Another example was in the Xbox scene, and one specific thread brought my attention. Apparently, a user named Dak Vesser made a modpack of Bastila in the game, and also "modified the Peragus Kolto Tank which becomes a vending machine for lightsaber's and other items, plus you can use it to change Bastila's lightside/darkside alignment", but, as you can imagine, everything is as dead as Taris (I even remember watching videos about the mod in youtube with Bastila in white Revan's robes and tho lightsabers in Peragus and having the Xbox HUD, but I can't find those either...) I just wanted to know if anyone would be kind enough to help me to put the head on the game or to share the files/saves I've mentioned above in order to play as Bastila, please! I could say it 's rather shocking finding out that many of KOTOR's history has fallen to obscurity and no one cares about it, I could say it's normal, because we have superior things, but, it's just simply mesmerizing... Here are the websites i found: Windstream blog: http://web.archive.org/web/20090211025914/http://home.alltel.net:80/jls31/index.html Xbox-scene topic: http://web.archive.org/web/20141029064758/http://forums.xbox-scene.com/index.php?/topic/359678-kotorii-tsl-bastila-modpack-availible/ (I link them with archive because you cannot access them in any other way...) Of course I know how to install mods, of course I know I need a modded Xbox (which I have), of course I know the PC version is bastly superior, and many other things, but I really want to live this experience. Thanks in advance! Have a great day ^^

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Traditional Mandalorian Blades ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ for KotOR 2: The Sith Lords This modification adds traditional Mandalorian beskar iron melee weapons, the Beskad and the Kal. The weapons can be found and purchased in-game. The weapons have upgradeable Grip and Edge (because I couldn't figure out how to get just Grip upgradeable, which is what would have made sense to me), but they don't mention upgradeability in the description. If you prefer different bonuses for the weapons, you can use your favorite GFF editor to modify the UTI files that the installer places in your Override folder. I made the models and textures. The textures are 1K in size and relatively simplistic in version 1. The original uncompressed textures, along with UV and AO map overlays, can be found in the Modder's Resource package (it is the same as K1 Modder's Resource package). Thanks to JDub96 for requesting this. Re-distribute or re-use this mod as you like, in full or in part. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ COMPATIBILITY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The modification is designed for use with TSLRCM. Whether it works without it is unknown. The modification uses model variation 41 of vibroblade and vibrosword. It will not work with other mods that provide w_vbroshort_041 or w_vbroswrd_041. The modification MAY be incompatible with other mods that affect Kex on Dxun (module 403DXN) or the Mandalorian mercenaries on Dantooine (module 605DAN). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ SPOILERS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You can find the objects in-game at...     New UI
    Version 0.4
    504 downloads
    From the readme: Description This mod replaces some of the elements in the user interface (UI) with new versions. This mainly affects the combat UI, but some elements (like the health and force bars) are shared across multiple screens. The item bars and powers menus have new boxes, the combat and selection reticles have been replaced with more minimal versions, and a number of arrows have been replaced with a different style. The overall aim ahs been to imitate the style of the Designers Republic (http://www.thedesignersrepublic.com/), and their work, particularly on the Wipeout PlayStation franchise. Eventually, I may replace the whole UI, but this is it for now. NB: This mod has only really been tested on the widescreen, Steam version of the game. The elements may look different on other versions and at different resolutions. Installation Just drop the files into your Override folder. Uninstallation Take them out again. Legal Disclaimer All materials and copyrights belong to LucasArts, Bioware and Obsidian Entertainment Inc., Kotor Tool belongs to Fred Tetra, NWNSSCOMP belongs to Edward T. Smith.     A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 19.03.2017 Installation: Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic 2 The Sith Lords override folder Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Description: While I was searching the game files for TSL I discovered the K1 Skyboxes for Dantooine were still in the TSL game files. I also discovered the grass on Onderon was also very similar to the K1 Dantooine grass so I made this mod. What this mod does is retexture the Dantooine grass and skyboxes to look like the Skyboxes and grass in K1. This mod includes no ported content from K1 into TSL. All assets used were already within the TSL game files. Known Bugs: The very top of the Dantooine Outdoor Modules is a different color to the rest of the skyboxes. I will address this when I find the correct texture for it or am able to make a custom one Incompatibilities: Is incompatible with anything that changes the Dantooine grass or skybox Permissions: Do NOT claim credit for this mod and please ask me for permission if you want to use this in your mod Thanks: Bioware for such an amazing game, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Obsidian for not deleting the textures and everyone who downloads the mod.     Hi! This is my second KotOR2:TSL mod! It's just a simple reskin of Bao-Dur's clothing and arm with more 'darkside' elements. It should be compatible with everything that doesn't change Bao-Dur's appearance. |WARNING!| THIS MOD WAS UPLOADED ONLY TO DEADLYSTREAM AND STEAM WORKSHOP IF YOU SEE IT EVERYWHERE ELSE, PLEASE CONTACT ME! INSTALLATION It's very simple, just place the 'override' folder in your KotOR2:TSL installation path: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Knights of the Old Republic II" for STEAM "C:\Program Files (x86)\LucasArts\SWKotOR2" for RETAIL Enjoy!
    Not really a mod, more of a modding resource. Here I've gathered the 7 most useful 'lost' modules for KotOR 1 - that is, modules that had no .rim files, and were essentially just room models in the game files. Why do I say 'most useful'? There are a few more - one of which is a slice of corridor, and several bits of the Unknown World temple-top, but none of these are much different or much more useful than the already existing modules, or the ones I have packaged here. Neither are they particularly exemplary. And so, here they are. I would guess that the modules' functions would be: In 2006-7, I found a variety of 'lost' modules in KotOR I, which I released as a pack. This consisted mainly of areas for which area models, walkmesh and lightmaps existed in the game files, but no module file. I complied these for use. Shortly aftewards I found around three others for TSL, which I intended to release around the time of my release of another mod of mine. The mod got delayed, and I forgot about the lost modules for a long time, until reminded by VarsityPuppet. Unlike the KotOR I set, these don't appear to have been made for areas which were then unused, but were probably for test effects, or similar purposes. They are: 000test - Empty, box-shaped room. The camera clips through the walls, like it does in most custom modules. 000trl - Small, empty area with a foggy floor. Perhaps has something to do with the main menu, when completed by a character with the Sith Lord prestige class? 999dia - Very large, flat plane, with walkmesh and lighting. Perhaps a test? Usage and credit I make no claim over usage - you may create and upload your own versions of this mod however and wherever you like - but please credit me appropriately. Please also do not upload or claim credit for an unmodified version of this mod elsewhere. It's just rude.
    This mod replaces the default lightsaber in the game. It is set up to work with the TSLRCM, in particular the bronze lightsaber restoration. The mod does not replace the default double lightsaber models. To install, drop the contents of this archive into your override folder. To uninstall, take them out again. Particular thanks to everyone who provided feedback and comments on this model during construction, and who helped out with getting the mod to this stage, most particularly Fair Strides and VarsityPuppet.
    TSL Armor Fix
    Version 1.0
    531 downloads
    A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords Author: N-DReW25 Release Date: 22.07.2016 Installation: Simply Copy and Paste or Drag and Drop ALL the files within the "For Override" into your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Uninstallation: Remove or Delete the files from your Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic override folder Description: When I firsted starting playing TSL I noticed how some armors that appeared in Kotor 1 didn't actually appear to look like how they did in Kotor 1 instead some looked new like the Light Battle Armor and Reinforced Battle Armor had new skins which was nice but then their were things like the Heavy Battle Armor and Verpine Zal Allow Mesh were just ridicolous and kinda unrealistic to the overall story of TSL so I decided to make a fix that turns those armors into their default Kotor 1 look. Now for those who were confused as to why those armors look strange is because they rushed the game without checking over it and it lefted a TON of bugs and mistakes and one of those mistakes were armors having the wrong model but from my perspective they planed to reskin those armors but could only finish at least 4 and they just applied a random model to the armors they didn't finish so they didn't intend for the Armors to appear as they did in kotor 1 so thats why this wasn't included in TSLRCM. The armors that have been affacted by this mod includes *Heavy Battle Armor *Powered Battle Armor *Light Battle Armor *Ulic Qel Dromas Mesh Suit *Reinforced Fiber Mesh *Mandalorian Assault Armor If I missed any please let me know Known Bugs: this mod shouldn't have bugs but if their is Just PM me on Deadlystream.     This pack contains two major elements. First, images for use as icon files, depicting one (blue) Jedi holocron and one Sith holocron. Second, it contains two placeable files and accompanying textures, for one (blue) Jedi holocron and one Sith holocron, on pedestals. There are versions of these models for KotOR I and KotOR II. N.B.: This is not a mod. Placing these files in your Override folder on their own will have no effect on your game whatsoever. Permissions You may use and modify these files however you wish in any mod that you wish, with three conditions: First, you must credit me in the Readme file or other mod descriptions (i.e., TSLPatcher info.rtf, or the file description online) as the original author of these files. Second, you must include a copy of this readme file with any mod released containing any or all of these resources. Third, that you may not reupload these files, unaltered and on their own, to any website without my expressed, written permission. This does not mean you need my permission to include them in a mod, or to upload modified versions, I just don't want this modder's resource mirrored all over the web without my knowledge. Known Bugs/Issues - The Sith holocron pedestal has some UV map issues. Attempts to fix this only broke the holocron model itself. Credits and Thanks - Thanks to Quanon, VarsityPuppet, and Marius Fett for their help with the models; - thanks also to Zhaboka, Sith Holocron, newbiemodder, Fallen Guardian, Warlord664, Quanon, Marius Fett, Canderis, DarthAnsem, SithSpecter, Slstoev, CptPriceless, kyrie, and Fair Strides 2 for their feedback and comments on the mod these were made for as it progressed; - to Fred Tetra for the truly awesome KotOR tool and his nwnsscomp conversion; - to Holowan Labs for remaining by far the best place to work on KotOR mods on the internet; - and to Obsidian, Bioware, and LucasArts, for making both KotOR games.
    These robes will make you look like Darth Nihilus, and have some very powerful stats. They were made on request for somebody, although I forget who now (sorry). You can get them in-game on Darth Nihilus'corpse, or by typing into the console 'giveitem a_robe_99'. I made this mod a long, long time ago, so the chances are that it's not compatible with TSLRCM.
    This mod adds a new lightsaber to the game, based on that of Qu Rahn, as seen in the Dark Forces games. It has an animated blade, that shifts colour between blue and green. It must be cheated into the game. The code for the saber crystal is “di_lcrys_12”, without the quotes. There is only a standard lightsaber model – do not attempt to use the crystal in a short or doublesaber, as this will crash your game.
