PMHC06 - Scruffy Nerf-Herder Reskin AUTHOR: Mysquff EMIAL: mysquff@gmail.com DESCRIPTION: Orginally I created this mod solely for my personal use, but decided to share some screenshots of it on /r/kotor. A few people showed interest in using it, so I decided to make it public. I have to warn you about 2 issues: 1. I haven't done any Dark Side transformation. So basically, the face would stay the same no matter how many DS points you have. 2. I haven't fully worked out face texture maps yet, so there's no beard on under chin. It's barely visible, you have to look at the head from very low angle to see it, but I think I should mention it. INSTALLATION: Unzip and place all files in your Override folder. UNINSTALLATION: Go to your Override folder and delete following files: PMHC06.tga, PMHC06d1.tga, PMHC06d2.tga, po_PMHC06.tga, po_PMHC06d1.tga, po_PMHC06d2.tga. PERMISSIONS: Do whatever you want with it - modify, share, reupload. It would be nice to give me some credit and let me know about it (maybe I'd like your version more than mine , who knows?),but you don't have to wait for my permission before doing anything with it. This mod replaces the standard, large computer panels with 'holographic' versions, inspired by the Mass Effect games. The textures are slightly animated, to create a 'static' effect. This mod does not affect the smaller computer panels, wall-mounted computer panels or the Rakatan computer model. Installation ------------ Put the two .tga files and two .txi files into your Override folder. Uninstallation -------------- Take them out again. Background ///// Being such a main part of the K1 story, I was surprised to see these had yet to be revamped. I was looking to get into modding/reskinning, so I thought this would be a great project. ///// 02. Enhancements ///// First steps were to update the overall model. I wanted some visual upgrades while still maintaining a very-aged and neglected structure. I love the runes scattered throughout the game and I really wanted to incorporate those as well. It seemed fitting to light them. (And you're going to them all over the place.) Next section was so focus on the HUD (for lack of a better term). It was very pixelated and really needed a crisp, new look. I tried to simplify it a bit and ended up removing a couple of parts as well. The biggest change I made was creating a new piece for the planet locators. I simply didn't like the originals and wanted to make the location an actual planet. This was a really fun part--recreating the central galaxy this all revolved around. I used some shots of actual galaxies, nebulas, and starfields. It's hard to beat the real thing. I adjusted the colors slightly for better clarity as well. The mother of a bastard that caused me the most grief, was the dodecahedron in the center of the star map. The texture had such a bizarre repeat pattern and never really wrapped that well. I'm happy to the point I got it to, but would like to make that an actual sphere in v2. ///// 03. Future Plans ///// In thinking about a version 2, I'd like to actually edit the model files. I think some edges could be softened, but mostly I'd like to adjust the mapping to avoid so many repeated areas of the texture. The final opening of the star map, where the PC finds out the location of the forge could use some work. Most (if not all) is model work and I wasn't ready for that. I'd also like to adjust the lighting in a couple of places. Would I go as far as to customize it for every zone you find a map? I dunno, that's a big endeavor and there are a limited number of placeables. ///// 04. Moving Forward ///// This has been a fun project for sure, and I'm happy to see it come to fruition. View File Female Exile Head ("Canon") This is just a simple PC portrait mod, it replaces PFHC07 with a new head (which is a modified version of PFHC05). The new head is supposed to look like http://vignette3.wik...=20091003183103, which is what Wookiepedia has as the Legends "canon" Exile. I did not make this mod—I requested it in the appropriate thread and a few other users put it together: - Schizo did the main bulk of the modeling work - Effix changed the hair color (I know that according the the Revan novel the Exile has light brown hair, but I prefer blonde because of Aimo's KOTOR comics on Deviantart. When playing around with modding K1, I've noticed a lot of parts of skins are repeated on the model. Here's a example I noticed with the star maps: Am I able to keep the original model, though create a new skin (that in this example) would be unique for each arm of the star map? Does this make sense? Thanks for any info you can provide!

So given the fact that the Admiralty Mod seems to be causing a game-breaking bug with the latest version of TSLRCM, I'm looking for a way to change Admiral Cede's excruciatingly generic look in TSL to at least a Republic Officer uniform (like the one worn by the Harbinger Captain), as I understand getting him in an actual Admiral uniform is a bit more complicated. Seeing as I have no modding experience, I was looking to find out if there is a straightforward avenue of getting Cede into something more respectable. Any tips, gents?

A reskin for Mission Vao. Though this time I altered her skin color. You can pick any of 5 I made. Red, Green, Yellow, Purple and White/ Cream. Have a look at the screenshots and the row of portrait shots. Those will show you just how colorful I made it. As before, nothing changed much to her vanilla look, besides the color. Quanons Jolee Reskin View File Quanons Jolee Reskin. It has taken me some time to get the last of my reskins out of the door. But it's here! Jolee, the old Jedi hermit, crazy wisecracking cook, had been done for some time. So have a peek at the screenshots, as I've given him the same treatment as my other reskins. A nice size boost; which allowed me to put in a more texture to his skin and clothes. I've kept his classic vanilla look, so no changes to his design. Just more crisp and sharp looking details all over. Jolee comes with 3 differant icons. I've put those in a folder. When installing just rename the icon properly. You only need to remove the '02' or '03' suffix. For the other files, just copy them to the Override and done! By demand a more hairy chest version has been added! Hello everyone! I'm about to play KOTOR II again and would like a minor modification on my favourite male Exile head, the long-haired latino male filed as PMHH01: To make him look more like a grizzled veteran who's been out of it for years, I'd like to add a full beard to his face. Could anyone be kind enough to make such a mod for me? Otherwise, I would be glad to follow instructions on how to do so, though I must clarify that my version of the game came in a special "Collection" box featuring both KOTOR games so the Kotor Tool does not work. View File Effixian's Player Head Reskins ******************************************** Knights of the Old Republic - The Sith Lords ******************************************** TITLE: Effixian's Player Head Reskins AUTHOR: Effix(ian) CONTACT: PM me on the forums or find me on Steam ************* INSTALLATION ************* Unzip, pick the files from the different folders that you would like to add and place them into your override folder. ************ DESCRIPTION ************ These are simple reskins that replace existing heads. The zip file contains folders so that you can pick which head you want to install. The download also contains screenshots to easily see which folder contains which files. Since this mod only replaces textures and portraits it shouldn't cause conflicts with other mods. PFHB01 Compared to the original this head has slightly darker skin and she has makeup that's inspired by an option in SWTOR, her eyes are made gray. There's no zombie dark side corruption, fully dark side has yellow eyes and halfway is a bit of a mix between those extremes. PFHC05 A reskin of the PFHC05 head that I did in 2010 (never published), adjusted a bit inspired by a request from ASinisterGecko & Warregory on Steam. Compared to the original PFHC05 there's no zombie dark side corruption, light side is blue eyes, added blue makeup and brown hair, halfway to dark the makeup goes green with slightly darker hair and at full dark side you get the Sith yellow eyes, red makeup and black hair. I also changed the lips. PFHC05 - Redhead (Not compatible with the above head) A reskin of the PFHC05 head and a continuation of the above head mod. Unlike the other 2 redheads this one does have zombie dark side corruption. Requested by Hobo King Niklz. PFHC06 & PMHC07 - Echani Echani themed reskins. Compared to the originals there's no zombie dark side corruption, light side has blue eyes, fully dark side has yellow eyes and halfway is a bit of a mix between those extremes. I also made the female's lips less red. Requested by @@SHALLS210@@ on Steam. I made the female reskin in 2010, but didn't publish it at the time. PFHC07 & PMHC07 - Redheads The male gets a beard, as requested by gigaGinger on Steam. Apart from the hair colour I've changed the female's lips. I've given both characters green eyes. There's no darkside zombie look, only the yellow eyes. PFHH01, PFHH02, PFHC07, PMHC03, PMHC06 - Chiss For the Chiss fans. Reskins of 2 male and 3 female heads to make them look like Chiss. Because of Steam mod limitations (Made these for the Steam Workshop) there's no custom underwear or dancer's outfit to match the blue skin. PMHB10 The changes to this head are inspired by KotOR's Jolee Bindo and a mix of the original texture with KotOR's Gadon Thek (whose texture was left in the KotOR 2 files). There's no zombie dark side corruption, fully dark side has yellow eyes and halfway is a bit of a mix between those extremes. PMHC01 A bearded reskin of the PMHC01 head that I made in 2010, to look like me as close as possible (you see it in a lot of my screenshots). Compared to the original PMHC01, apart from the beard, it removes the scar, there's no zombie dark side corruption, instead you get Sith tattoos at fully dark side plus the yellow eyes. I think I also tweaked the color of the hair a bit, even though there's not many on the top. The Sith tattoos have an asymmetrical detail made possible by the fact that this model had a scar on only one side. PMHC04 A more aged reskin of the PMHC04 head that I did in 2010 (not published). Compared to the original it looks older, there's no zombie dark side corruption, the eyes start with blue, then green and yellow at fully darkside. PMHH01 - "Son of Vaklu" A reskin of the PMHH01 head, inspired by a post by Dereshi on Steam, who was looking for a character with white skin and black hair and then Vaklu turned out to be an example of that and I mixed his beard into it. Compared to the original PMHH01 there's no zombie dark side corruption, light side has brown eyes, fully dark has the yellow eyes, halfway is a mix of the two. This reskin makes the original hispanic head more caucassian so you could notice a slight difference between the head and things like arms when wearing underwear. I have marked it as incompatible with K1R, but the truth is I'm not certain whether it is or not. So long as this mod is installed prior to K1R they're likely to work together, but I am not the original author and am unwilling to make a definitive statement to this effect. So here, at last is an cool appearance to match his cool voice. Firstly, choose if or not you want a solid Ajunta Pall, or a Semi Transparent "Ghost-Like" Ajunta Pall. And open the associated folder, either Non-Transparent, or Transparent. Then are 2 variations of the head to choose from, with ghostly eyes or with sith eyes. To use the Sith Eyes version, copy the file from the Sith Eyes folder into the override folder after the installation. Also the horrible shield effect has been removed.
