  2. I have spent an extremely long time compiling different mods together to make my Bastila look how I want her to look and I am very pleased with the results so I thought I'd make a quick tutorial of sorts on how to make your Bastila look like mine if you would like too. It's not really a tutorial however, so much as a list of mods that I use. Models: For the Head Model I use This Mod: For the Body I use 'Bastila's Got Back': https://www.lonebullet.com/maps/download-bastila-got-back-knights-of-the-old-republic-map-level-free-52315.htm Skins: with this mod of my own on top of it: I use the blue eyes until after Malak tortures her then switch to the Sith Eyes. Well, a year and 3 days ago I created a mod that changed the horrendous gaffi stick texture from a 64x64 monstrosity to a respectable 1024x1024. I also added a unique(ish) texture for the chieftan's gaffi, and modified that gaffi's description a bit to fit with my changes.
  4. @M3ales @Hassat Hunter @Kexikus @DarthParametric Since no one replied to my own thread I have a question about what I do regarding texture mods; which ones should I install? Also what do I do with non TSLpatcher mods?
  5. Hi guys! I was curious if anyone had a copy of the Extra Starport Visas Mod? I've searched everywhere but I think it was lost when the lucas fourms shut down . If anyone could upload it to MyAirBridge or Zippy or some other file sharing site I'd greatly appreciate it! May the force be with you
  6. Are Mods that are compatible with TSLRCM 1.8.5 compatible with MTSLRCM 1.8.6?
  7. View File [TSL] Animated Computer Panel This mod replaces the static computer panel placeables [PLC_comPanel] that found throughout the game; such as one in the Bumani's, Medical Unit, and Czerka's [on Telos] with the animated ones. -= BACKGROUND =- It was Sith Holocron's request about his least favorite texture in KotOR2/TSL that makes me work on this mod. But as time goes by curiosity on trying to improve it haunts me, by doing more and looking much better -- hence the born of v2.0.0. On this [as well as the previous one] I have him to help on making the panel screen, hence the sweet result of a movie-like looking ones. You should check out his blog from where the inspiration comes -- And then with DarthParametric's handy-hands the panel now have a new symmetrical frame, some 3D buttons, also few TOR-ported bits on the screen. Not stopping there, it now have a new panel board decals -- a copied work from Frank Diorio's downloadable decals [then niubniubsuniverse-dot-com]. -= ABOUT THIS MOD =- Inside this mod are 2 version; transparent screen and a solid-non-transparent version. Preview: Transparent Solid Specifics: New panel frame trimesh made by @DarthParametric New 3D buttons trimesh made by DarthParametric Panel screen bitmap made by @Sith Holocron Panel board bitmap made by Frank Diorio TOR ported animated bits redistributed by DarthParametric Tools mostly worked on to -- KOTORmax [gmax] by bead-v / Aurora MDL [N++] by Symmetric The panel texture currently still in vanilla scheme [based on stock PLC_comPanel], albeit upscaled to x1024 from x256 using PS'. -= KNOWN ISSUES =- With transparent version, some objects will become invisible behind the screen; such as traffics seen from Medical Unit and lightsaber as well with the hilt. There's a workaround for the traffics, but that's beyond the scope of this mod so they're something to live with at the moment. Nothing that I know of though for the lightsabers. -= FINAL REMARKS =- There's always room for improvements; reviews, critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks are much appreciated. PM me here, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and using this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! -= INSTALLATION =- Run the installer and choose INSTALL option. Pick one you choose -- then hit the [Install Mod ->] button! -= UNINSTALLATION =- Choose the UNINSTALL option in the installation menu For a clean uninstallation, remove these files from the Override after proceeding with the main procedure -- eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDL eb_plc_commpane1/2.MDX eb_plc_commpane1/2.PWK eb_companel_btns.TPC eb_companel_pnel.TPC eb_companel_wave.TPC sheb_compnl_scrn.TPC -= COMPATIBILITY =- Not compatible with mods that hard-overwrites placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods that alter the modelname and label setup for RowIndex 292 in placeables.2DA Not compatible with mods which happened to have the same name with the MDL, MDX, PWK, and TPC-s that included with this mod -= REDISTRIBUTION =- Do not redistribute this mod or re-release it on any websites. I'd love to provide direct support to my work, which wouldn't be possible if they're scattered in the Unknown Regions. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, please be kindly to ask for permission first - that way I know what's up, and if it's interesting enough I might offer to be involved, lol. Or at least we'll talk. Cheers! -= CREDITS =- The Almighty Force Obsidian Entertainment and LucasArts for The Sith Lords Frank Diorio as the creator of panel board bitmap Sith Holocron for feedbacks, ideas and the panel screen DarthParametric for past-present knowledge, his creation that I took learn from, and particularly with this project -- the panel frame, 3D buttons as well the TOR-ported bits [and both endless technical-to-non assistance which makes this mod possible] JCarter426 and Inyri Forge for all their awesome work that I look up to - I learned a lot from their mods and been practicing a lot using their method Fred Tetra for KotOR Tool bead-v for KOTORmax and MDLedit Symmetric for Aurora MDL ndix UR for tga2tpc and tpcview stoffe for TSL Patcher and Fair Strides for the updates VarsityPuppet for 2DA Editor All Tool Makers wasn't mentioned - can't make it without y'all! This mod "restores" three-tier appearances of Dark Jedi robe as seen on their icons. # Background # We do notice that there are 3 different icons of Dark Jedi robes which came along with each of their own tier. But when we equipped the DJKnight or DJMaster robe, their appearance pointed to that only robe which is the basic DJ robe. This mod tried to "restores" the robes which was shown with the icons. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are some replacements for Dark Jedi robes both for the male and female version: Vanilla Dark Jedi robe with additional specularity [g_a_jedirobe02] / PMBI02 - PFBI02 Blue Dark Jedi robe replacement [g_a_jedirobe05] / PMBI11 - PFBI11 Dark Jedi Knight robe [g_a_kghtrobe02] / PMBI12 - PFBI12 Blue Dark Jedi Knight robe replacement [g_a_kghtrobe05] / PMBI13 - PFBI13 Dark Jedi Master robe [g_a_mstrrobe02] / PMBI14 - PFBI14 Blue Dark Jedi Master replacement [g_a_mstrrobe05] / PMBI15 - PFBI15 All the robe icons necessary Vanilla models to have them textures working properly An Extras: Vanilla texture with enhanced specularity Darth Revan's robe / PMBJ01 - N_DarthRevan01 Uninstall option # Final Remarks # I am using Darth Tomer's "Dark Robe" as the base layer for the 11 and 13 variant, and also SpaceAlex's "Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack - PMBI05 and PFBI05" as the base layer to work on to for the 14 and 15 variant. Credits to them both as the respective owners of the amazing textures to work on to. Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes PMBI02 TGA/TPC, PFBI02 TGA/DDS, and ia_jedirobe_002 TGA/DDS from the 'Override' folder; if there's any. If you were running a clean install playthrough or without any texture replacement mods, you could just run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe]. Uninstallation: Run the 'Uninstall' option from the installation directory. Compatibility: Will not compatible with mods that replaces or changing the 'Texture Variation' inside of these UTIs: g_a_jedirobe02 g_a_jedirobe05 g_a_kghtrobe02 g_a_kghtrobe05 g_a_mstrrobe02 g_a_mstrrobe05 Also not compatible with mods that replaces the model of the Jedi robes [pfbil, pfbim, pfbis, pmbil, pmbim, pmbis - MDL/MDX], for example; Marius Fett's "Male Jedi Robe Replacement". If you want this mod to be working, install it after the said mod has or after any potentially conflicted mods. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the kind intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, make sure to give credits to Darth Tomer, SpaceAlex, BioWare & LucasArts, as inside this mod are their base assets. Nevertheless, credits to me is always a welcome, welcome. Credits: DarthParametric for the past-present knowledge which allows me to create any customs for the game Darth Tomer for the "Dark Robe" SpaceAlex for the "Modder's Resource: SpaceAlex's Unfinished K1 Enhancement Pack" N-DReW25 for the "Dark Jedi Robes Icon Fix" which motivates me to work its contrast; for without his mod I will not start doing this project Salk, Sith Holocron, and JustABitAgroed for some insights which I believe has lead me to start on doing the project Dark Hope, Quanon, VarsityPuppet, and redrob41 for being inspirational Fred Tetra for the 'amazing' KotOR Tool ndix UR for the tga2tpc Darth Sapiens and Paul Ste. Marie for the Bioware's DDS Compression Kit stoffe and Fair Strides for the TSLPatcher setup All streamers on DeadlyStream which indirectly involved on this project that I couldn't possibly mentioned one by one All modders either active or inactive DeadlyStream for a place to hangout and to discuss -eb

This mod replaces K1's vanilla static swoop monitor with TSL ported swoop monitor with added animations on its screen. # Background # Lately I have been attempting few porting stuffs between TSL to K1 and then wondered "can PLC_xx be ported?" and the answer is here. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are: One TSL ported swoop monitor model: plc_swscreen MDL/MDX One TSL ported swoop monitor texture in TPC format: TSL_SwpMntr One custom made 11 frames-animated swoop screen in TPC format: AnmtdSwpScrn # Final Remarks # This attempt were much inspired by Sith Holocron's "Swoop Monitors Replacement Pack" as without the said mod, it wouldn't go anywhere than just a mere idea. I learned a lot from his texture and TXI's setup so- lots of credits pretty much addressed to SH and his work! Critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and any feedbacks for the next update are very much appreciated- just PM me or write a public message on my feed. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: Copy-Paste all the included files to the 'Override' folder. Overwrite when prompted. Uninstallation: Remove the said files from the 'Override' folder. Redistribution: You can redistribute this mod or re-release it on any website; you don't have to ask for permission, but I do appreciate all the kind intention. Also, if you are planning to use the assets from this mod to a mod you will be developing, don't forget to give credits to BioWare, Obsidian Entertainment, and LucasArts as inside this mode are their base assets. 10. Can anyone (maybe the TSLRCM / M4-78 teams who already did this) help me with precise, simple, step-by step (Idiot's Guide style) instructions on how I could upload a KOTOR II Mod to the Steam Workshop? I have absolutely zero experience in the matter! I have looked all over the Internet and only found a tutorial for Mount and Blade, and an older universal tutorial which no longer works I believe, and someone mentioning that I have to click a button while KOTOR II is selected in my Game Library and that should do all, but I cannot find any such button in the Steam interface! I need a valid tutorial that still works in 2020 but cannot find any... I have Steam running on my PC, as well as both KOTOR games bought and in my Game Library. Many thanks in advance and have a great weekend! *My apologies if this is posted in the wrong section of the forum! I figured this is where it would belong.
  11. This thread will contain all of my WIP mods as they come. For now, have a look at the few places featured in the TSL version of the NPC Overhaul mod. Dantooine Battle Mercs - No more 50 billion of 3rd Caucasian Male clones with shielding visor and prop weapons. Now they wield actual arms. Militia health was upped accordingly so they don't drop dead too early. Dantooine Salvagers - Never understood the concept of having them in rags. Sure, they're scavengers, but even scavs have money for some basic equipment. They had to get to Dantooine somehow after all. Telos Cantina - Trask, Gendar and Gadon return from the dead to work as Exchange enforcers. Commoners no longer wear the same 11th variant of clothing. Telos Exchange Offices - Consistent with Cantina appearances, plus giving the Black Vulkar Nikto characters more screentime again. Korriban Tomb - Always felt TSL robes are meant to be a design retcon, since they're shown in the Exile's trial, taking place before Jedi Civil War. So, the visions wear different master robes. Note that these may differ across games, as I have Deadman's Movie Robes installed. Nebelish is no longer a randomly dead Dustil. Nar Shadda Refugee Quad - Always bothered me that the refugees scraping the bottom of the barrel could still afford clean clothes. Especially when there are two variants of dirty ones in the game. Moar to follow.

  13. Hello all, Long time KOTOR fan, first time forum poster. I had an idea for a (hopefully fairly) simple mod that would (again, hopefully) make a playthrough a little bit different. So to set the scene, one thing I also thought KOTOR 1 was missing was a bit more depth in what you could be. A prime example of this was the questions Bastila asked you when you were on Dantooine. This is a quick copy + paste from the KOTOR Strategy Wiki: Bastila: First, what kind of background do you have? Answers: 1. Nothing extravagant. I'm a soldier. 2. I was a scout. The fleet recruited me for my skills. 3. I was a smuggler before I joined the fleet. (Plus the ones that piss her off) Bastila: Good. On which planet were you born? Answer: Deralia. It's in a remote system. Why? Bastila: Excellent. Your current age is? Answer: Wasn't all this in my service records? Now I don't know about you guys but that seems all quite shallow choices - particularly for a Bioware game. So what if for example, it was something more like this: Bastila: Good. On which planet were you born? Player: Answer 1. Deralia. It's in a remote system. Answer 2. Nar Shaddaa. It was very rough to grow up in. Answer 3. Coruscant. Grew up in the big city and saw all the galaxy had to offer. Answer 4. Naboo. Very quiet and very peaceful, nothing too much happened there. Answer 5. Kashyyyk. I'm a Wookiee… can't you tell? Just by adding the choices, you get to add a little bit more of a backstory to your character. The same can be applied to the background, so for example if the background was for a soldier. 1. Nothing extravagant. I'm a soldier. Just graduated from the academy. 2. Was a mercenary for a while, thought I would sign up with the Republic before I got into too much trouble etc. Dunno if anyone else thinks the same way about this, but I would love to lend assistance for mod development/mod this myself. Would anyone want this/have any other ideas?
  14. View File [K1] Republic Soldier's New Shade This mod replaces the vanilla and/or the installed Republic Soldier texture with the new shade-specularity tweaked version. # Background # The way I see it; the vanilla and/or already present Republic Soldier texture lacks some shading and reflection particularly on its trim, so I thought adding ones would somehow enhance its appearance. # About this Mod # Inside this mod are 6 options of new shade and specularity tweaked Republic Soldier texture in TPC format: [Main] New Shade for Male NPC Republic Soldier [Option-1] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female * [Option-2] Vanilla Version Model - Female NPC Republic Soldier [Option-3] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-4] Vanilla version for JC's "Republic Soldier Uniform for PC" - Male and Female * [Option-5] New Shade for JC's "Republic Soldier Fix for K1" - Male and Female NPC Republic Soldier * * Option 1, 3, 4 and 5 requires JCarter426/JC's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" to be installed first. # Final Remarks # There's always room for improvements - critiques, comments, suggestions, questions and feedbacks for the next update are much appreciated - PM, write them on my feed or leave any on the mod's page as you please. And thank you! for downloading, and playing this mod. Hope you enjoy the mod as much as I do! Installation: I suggest you to manually removes any TGA/DDS and TXI instances of the relevant files [if there're any] from the 'Override' folder. And then - run the installer [TSLPatcher.exe], and hit the [Install Mod ->] button! Uninstallation: remove the installed files from the 'Override' folder or replaces them with the files stored in the 'Backup' folder [if generated] Compatibility: this option will be compatible with JCarter426's "JC's Republic Soldier Fix for K1" as long as this mod was installed after the said mod has. With any mods that is using the same name for the assets and/or potentially overwrite this mod, no compatibility is guaranteed Redistribution: if you want to redistribute the mod - just go with it. Though less likely I will provide supports to any other place than DeadlyStream. If you are to re-use an assets to a project you will be releasing, you don't have to ask for permission - but your generous intention is very much welcome. I'd love to know what others are up too, particularly if my work are included. And then, make sure to credit BioWare & LucasArts with the release - particularly with the inclusion of the assets. 15. Hello everyone, This is my first post so I apologize in advance if this question has already been answered. Although it seems like I have searched everywhere without still finding my answer. For starters, I'm running a 2014 MacBook Pro.I have purchased Kotor 2 through steam and I'm very interested in applying as many mods as possible. From what I have read so far, seems as if TSLRCM is a must. I would also like to run M4-78EP and maybe a few more mods which bring in new content (Jedi temple/Jedi enclave and so on). I would also love to set up the widescreen UI if at all possible. Now from what I've seen so far, we are only able to subscribe to 5 mods on steam max or else the game will crash. I know that other mods can be installed manually but that's where I'm stuck. I read and watched countless forums and videos but nothing seems to be specific enough. What I mean by this is: the people who create these often won't included the specific steps required to move forward. I tried installing wineskin which was recommended but it skipped things like: what version, what engine, what it should look like and so on. (This is my first time doing something like this so every basic step is important) It has been a few weeks since I've purchased the game but I refuse to play it without adding some mods. Which bring me to my two questions: For mac users out there, are you able to simply just subscribe to at least TSLRCM 1.8.5, M4-78EP, and the widescreen UI on steam? Or can I manually install them without the use of anything like wineskin. And.... Will all three of those mods be compatible together? Thanks in advance.

  17. Rather than keep using the status update section, I figured it was probably time I made a thread for my projects to showcase what I'm working on. Recruit Script (3.0) Hopefully, the last revision to this resource. Bringing back the ability to use the string and script parameters in dialog that I deleted in the previous version for some reason. The only breaking change will be the two function's names, which is to help it be more self-explanatory than "RecruitA" and "RecruitB". 😶 I'm also working on a recruit tutorial to accompany it. Echo of the Force Not much to show off yet. I plan to start on the first module tomorrow. As a test of the new version of the above mod resource, I managed to get one of the party members into the game. The clothing in the screenshot is not the intended final clothing. It just was convenient to copy Mira's appearance line when setting up her 2da lines. TSL Heads Port At the same time, I'm also working on porting the TSL heads into KOTOR I. The main issue I can foresee is that the 4 hispanic heads don't have undergarments for the scoundrel and soldier appearances. But, I'll cross that bridge and figure something out when I get to that. Misc As part of redesigning my personal website, I'm updating my readme files from my older mods to make them more consistent. I'm also uploading the ones that weren't here previously to make sure they're available.
  18. This is the problem I'm having, I have already posted it to Reddit. From what Snigaroo said on the subreddit, it's probably the robe mods that I have installed that seems to have issues with Melee animations. The robe mods I have installed are Force Fashion II and Lore Keeper Robes. I have never had this issue before. My questions now is if I was able to go in and fix the animation issues, how would I do so? I assume I would use KotorTool, but what would be the hypothetical steps I would need to take?

View File [K1] Animated Swoop Screen [TSLPort] This mod replaces K1's vanilla static swoop monitor with TSL ported swoop monitor with added animations on its screen. New UI

    Version 0.4

    504 downloads

From the readme: Description This mod replaces some of the elements in the user interface (UI) with new versions. This mainly affects the combat UI, but some elements (like the health and force bars) are shared across multiple screens. The item bars and powers menus have new boxes, the combat and selection reticles have been replaced with more minimal versions, and a number of arrows have been replaced with a different style. The overall aim ahs been to imitate the style of the Designers Republic (http://www.thedesignersrepublic.com/), and their work, particularly on the Wipeout PlayStation franchise. Eventually, I may replace the whole UI, but this is it for now. NB: This mod has only really been tested on the widescreen, Steam version of the game. The elements may look different on other versions and at different resolutions. Installation Just drop the files into your Override folder. Uninstallation Take them out again.
