  1. I think the HK-48's stats should be exactly the same as HK-47's stats when he is first recruited. Why you may ask: because I think the Level of an NPC affects the NPC's vitality points so having an average Level 26 HK-47 and a Level 50 HK-48 it's an easy guess who's going to die first in a fight and who the players will always play as in this case. Also, the unlimited items I can agree can stay but I don't want HK-48's inventory to be locked, instead you should have him with nothing in the inventory and have the items shown in the screenshot appear in the munitions area armory so the player can collect the items and equip what they want for example if I want HK-48 to wield an Ion Rifle I can do that.

    I agree with this(partially because I can't lock equipment slots).


  2. Moving on, has anyone got ideas for dialog for HK-48? Both for recruiting him and for his in-party conversation. I wrote a quick one where you activate him, the 3 HK-50s watching you comment on what you're doing and then he joins you. It seems fine but I'm wondering if that's too basic? Considering how useful HK-48 will be to have in the factory maybe there should be more steps to recruiting him? 

    Maybe you could have to grab a power converter or something from the repair bay to repair him?

     

    EDIT : That is what I am going to do with my version, sorry ;)


  3. He could appear in the G0-T0/Remote cutscene. I also had the idea that, if HK-47 chooses to activate and build the army of HK-51s, he would leave HK-48 in charge while he heads to Malachor.

    Intelligence: 16

    Wisdom: 14

    Charisma: 12

     

    Let me know if that could use changing. He also has 20 in every skill except Persuade, Stealth and Treat Injury (he's got 0 in those). I've also given him versions of the Droid Ion Striker, Droid Carbonite Emitter and Droid Unity Grid that have unlimited uses. 

     

    That is only "just" too over powered...lol

     

    Unlimited Uses? and 20 in each skill, yeah that is overpowered ;)

    Can I also ask who would the second HK Droid replace? The first one would replace Kreia obviously but the second one has no real candidates for party slot (Maybe Bao Dur but he gets overwritten by the remote at Malachor, but I doubt the HK Droid will be useful at that stage). 

    My original idea was have the other HK unit turn on you/get destroyed at the end of the level therefore deleting the character from  your party and having him be replaced by the Remote at Malachor. As for the munitions area extra loot, that will happen ;)


  5. There is a new game on Steam that is still in it's alpha stages(early access) but is already an amazing game. It's like a combination of Space Engineers and  No Man's Sky but much better than both. 11 planets to land on, creativity to build what ever you want and a complex survival mode; what more could you want from the game?

     

    The Community is already involved tonnes with nearly every Star Wars creation.

     

    I bought it myself and just love how much freedom it gives.

  6. Mine does too, but it doesn't have to be one or the other. If we work to make both mods compatible then everyone wins; two extra companions are better than one! 

     

     

     

     Thank you, but believe me I'm not that good - I've just had massive, massive amounts of help from all the nice people around here.

     

    Two new companions would be great, excellent idea.

     

    I suggest that we make them different enough that people want both

     

    How did you go about making the HK Factory available for party members?



  7. Someone help @TheRealDarthRevan with this please, it is honestly something about TSLRCM that really sucks, especially if your HK-47 isn't optimised.

    Relax, I have this all under control ????


    I thought this was a cool idea so I made something like this. It adds a "HK-48" to the little room in the munitions area that joins your party. It's not in a state that I'd want to release but if people want it I could work on it some more (I have plenty of free time at the moment...

    If you want to work on it instead of me that is alright but I am getting new textures and portrait made so...

     

    Your modding skills are much better than mine(I have seen what you did with Maxis, great stuff ????) I still want to make this mod. It would give me something else to do instead of other boring stuff


  8. I could definitely make this mod, the only problem is I can't seem to get the HK Factory to accept a party member(because it's locked). If someone could tell me how to do that I will be done with this mod(I also can't seem t get HK-51 to not have Kreia's party portrait...Hmm)

  9. Star Wars : The Holiday Special is my absolute FAVOURITE Star Wars movie by far ;). I didn't enjoy The Force Awakens and Rogue One - A Star Wars Story stole the tale of Kyle Katarn and rewrote it (and yes I know his story isn't cannon).

  10. Have you tried turning off frame buffer effects and shadows, grass?

     

    I have problems with Kotor 2 on my win 8 PC, it's bad but not as bad as you are describing(still makes the droid planet unplayable (7 fps))

     

    Maybe it's a problem with the newer operating systems? Try running in compatibility or using a virtual win xp shell?


  11. I believe Yuthura was cut as a party member along with Sleheyron because her side quest would include something to do with the hutts on Sleheyron because she was a slave there?

     

    I also heard this info recently somewhere but I don't know where


  12. Hi everyone,

     

    I am TheRealDarthRevan(don't believe the fakers out there) and I am gennerally new to Kotor and modding. A few years ago I descovered Kotor and I could never complete Taris and now I am here modding in all my spare time that I am not doing school work and hanging with friends. Yes I am a Maths Whiz, a geek and a Star Wars fan-boy, but I am proud of it!

     

    I hope I have a wonderful time here at DeadlyStream and just have fun messing with the game in general.

  13. It wouldn't just be a fight for fights sake it would also have a lot of dialogue and strategic decisions that could make or break the level for you. I also believe that there is only one side quest in that portion of the game, so I think it needs to be fleshed out to have a break from the action (like a nice massage in Davik's Estate)

  14. It would be much like what happens on Dxun where you choose your party members (only the ones that are still there) to go to the defender to seize control before it destroys Citadel Station, like say Atton, HK and GOTO go to the Defender to stop them

I am registering an interest in maybe a Citadel Station Attack enhancement that would consist of members of the party traveling to a republic ship that is being manned by corrup Republic soldiers secretly working for Sion. The party members would have to take control of the ship before it destroys Citadel station and the Harbinger alike.
