    I have an alternate clothing texture for one of the party models that I'd like to use in game (not a replacement, but as an armor that needs to be equipped for it to show up). Seems fairly simple but for some reason it isn't working. Is there some major step I need to do besides renaming the relevant tgas, utis, and mdls/mdxs?

      The texture filename is specified by a combo of the appearance.2da entry and the variation number in the item's UTI. This will override any texture specified in the model itself.
