    I personally would love to see Bastila's battle meditation be a useable force power like K2

    Now the Hermit feat is so described:

    Unique Ability: Jolee

    Jolee has survived in the harsh Kashyyyk wilds for quite some time. With that experience he has learned to make efficient use of any medpack (+10% bonus).

    I used TamerBill's Content Pack: Feats and Powers (K1 ver) 1.67 as reference.

    If I can come with some decent ideas, I would like for Carth's and Mission's unique feats to grant some small bonus as well.

Perhaps we coud, for consistency's sake, adapt the text to the original so that Mission, Jolee, Carth and Canderous would have "Unique Ability: " while HK-47 woud have "Prerequisites:".

    It would also be nice if it was possible to give a very small bonus of some kind for those party members whose new unique feats do not translate into any kind of benefit (Mission, Jolee, Carth) but I don't know if that is possible.

    PS2: One interesting thing to mention is that K1's dialog tlk file includes a few strings where unique feats were planned for 2 party members (Bastila and Jolee) that either ended up with none or with a different one:

    BODY FUEL

    Unique Ability: Bastila

    Body Fuel is an activated ability that lasts for 30 seconds. During this time Bastila regenerates all of her Force points every round (3 seconds). However, whenever she uses a Force Power, she takes Vitality damage equal to the Force Point cost of the power.

    PSYCHIC STATIC

    Unique Ability: Jolee 

    Psychic Static is an activated ability. It lasts for 6 seconds per level. For its duration, all enemies in the area of effect (8-meter radius around Jolee) come under a confusion effect. There is a 20% chance that the creature acts normally, a 40% chance that the creature attacks its nearest ally and a 40% chance that the creature does nothing.

    I like your suggestion for the bonuses, I made them reference the skills they already have but unfortunately it's out of my skill level, as i intended this to just be immersive.

    Ill take the consistency stuff under consideration but I'm taking a little modding break for the time being. But by all means if you want to use this and make your own version you may do so. That's the intention of the mod.

    Thanks a bunch! I'll try it out later when I get the chance. I'm guessing the UTC files are just to give the character the feats? If I choose to not install those but still add the feats.2da file, will I be able to edit my own UTC files in Kotor Tool and add the new feats to the characters myself?

    The UTC files are to give the Characters the Feats yes. In theory yes, for testing i used KSE to add the feats manually to each NPC.

     

    The patcher is set up to manually modify your existing ones, or atleast it should to add the feat, obviously that would need a new game though.

    In TSL certain items can be limited to certain characters, In K1 however that is not possible... until now. I sought to create a workaround to limit certain items to certain characters. Especially for when modders create items.

    The solution I came up with was creating unique feats for the NPC's that do not have one.
    Four NPC's already have a unique feat with.
    Bastila - Battle Meditation
    Juhani - Force Camouflage
    T3M4 - Blaster Integration
    Zaalbar - Wookiee Toughness

    I created one for each:
    Carth - Decorated Pilot
    Mission - Streetwise
    Canderous - Regenerative Healing Implants
    Jolee - Hermit
    HK-47 - Assassin Droid

    One important thing to note. These feats are for immersion only. They do not have any active effects attached to them unless the active effect already exists for the characters, like Canderous and his regen.
        
    This mod is intended to be used as a resource. I'm planning on releasing a few mods that will require this as a base. Feel free to use it as well, all I ask is that proper credit is given.

    A huge thanks to @Effix for helping me get the mod properly setup with the TSL patcher.

    Please let me know if you have any issues.

    Installation:    
    Run TSLPatcher.exe and locate your swkotor folder

    Uninstallation:    
    Delete UTC Files for characters, icon images, and replace the dialog.tlk with the one in backup from patcher installation

    It replaces the Neutral Portrait with a Jedi Knight Revan in the Starforge robe.

    Easy install, open the folders of the portraits you'd like to use and Just drop them into the override folder.

    To uninstall remove the implemented files.

    I saw some issues reported with the top right UI bar with @ndix UR 's widescreen UI. I then realized I had the problem also. Upon inspection the black background was not properly fitting to the squares. 

    I have no experience UI editing so I was at least able to do trial and error editing the texture.

    You may notice there is one pixel length at the bottom of the black square. This is a UI issues and I cannot fix it. The sides and top are fixed at least.

    Also included is a fix for the Force Power arrows on the character portraits.

    THIS WAS TESTED WITH 1920x1080 ONLY, I'm not sure how it will be with other resolutions.

    The Head in screenshot of arrows is from one of  @Effix 's mods :)

    This was a personal mod I made to use with the Stylized portraits. I was inspired by TSL which does not have the silhouette portraits that are used before you recruit a party member. It instead uses a blank design and a border. I am no artist so I made this very quickly.

    This mod is a upscaled version of the computer interface with personal touches done by @Effix, it is absolutely not perfect, but I felt it is a decent alternative when it comes to using the widescreen interface. 

    You will notice some colors may not be perfect due to the overlay that goes overtop the computer interface to contain the static effect.

    I was looking at icons today and noticed the first conditioning icon just didn’t match the others. I sought to change that. The icons have very different names so I can only guess that maybe early in development they were separate feats.

    I also rotated the Master Conditioning icon to be vertical

    Description:

    One thing KOTOR seems to have is an almost endless supply of datapad items. Oh, but what are they called? Oh well “Datapad” of course.

    I was inspired by TSL for this mod as this is not a problem in TSL. What many people and especially new players don’t know is that the Datapad items are there sometimes to give hints to quests or flesh out the lore, Hell one of them straight up GIVES you the solution, but it’s lost in a sea of “Datapads”. After talking with @ebmar who is much more experienced with the TSL Patcher liked my idea and was onboard, I immediately got to work on new titles.

    I did my best to have them make sense in context and situation they are acquired.

    This modifies Datapads and Journal Items. (Which are really all datapads)


     

    I hope you enjoy, please let me know if you have any problems. I did my best to test it as much as I could. I did not encounter any issues. You will need to start a new game to see this mod work correctly.


     

    One final thing to note, this mod was made with widescreen mods in mind, I am unsure how it will respond to the normal aspect ratio.

     

    Installation:

    Run TSLPatcher.EXE and locate your swkotor folder


     

    Compatibility:

    Will not be compatible with anything that modifies existing datapad .UTI files

    After seeing the release by @DylanRPG and the Portraits done by Tinman888 who is a magnificent artist.

    I reached out to Tinman888 and discovered that he had finished some TSL Portraits!

    After gaining permission by Tinmann888 to create a pack made from his TSL portraits I got to work.

    This pack included all main party members with dark side transitions, generic female portrait, and generic bearded/Non Bearded male portrait


    One thing to note, the Widescreen UI can be a bit wonky, especially for the Aspyr version on steam. So I highly suggest using a widescreen mod otherwise the Portraits can look stretched.

    I use a combination of these two.

    This mod is an upscale of all item/armor/weapon icons to 256x256, along with some force power icons. There could be a few extra extra thrown in for good measure. You really cannot tell on the force icons but I felt, why not toss them in?

    This mod was made with @ndix UR high resolution menus in mind. At first it was for personal use because I didn't like the pixilation, but decided to release it.

    I must be honest these are not the greatest and have some of their own issues, like being somewhat smudged. But mostly helps with pixilation. The difference will be hard to tell in the screenshots.

    Additional note, if you use the KOTOR Save Editor, you may need to run it in full screen due to the new icon size.

    I absolutely hate the Tower of Hanoi puzzle in Korriban, I sought to make a way to bypass it that kinda made some lore sense. So with the assistance of @DarthParametric this mod was born.

    In this version for now until I have more time, you will need a Computer Use skill of 10 or more for the dialogue selection to show up.

     

    Future Plans will include a more more scaled roll for your level with a failure message.

    Firstly, While using the HD UI Mod, I noticed there was quite a few things in it that were not HD and looked quite awful. One being the planet icons, and two being the party selection screenshot of the character on the right side.

    I decided to try and at least do something about this.

    For the party selection screen I took screencaps from the the game itself with high resolution textures made by ShiningRedHD's mod on the nexus https://www.nexusmods.com/kotor/mods/1282 

    Then proceeded to upscale them, this is the result. 

    All characters images are from the waist up as best I could, HK47 was especially tricky.

    I did not do  T3M4 as @Dark Hope created one for his HD Astromech Mod that is vastly superior to mine.

    I made one creative decision with:

    Dark Side Bastila and placed in her a Dark Jedi robe, if there is a demand I'll make one with her default clothes, it just made more sense in my head.

    I also attempted to do Trask, it looks awful. But He's there, for some reason his texture does not apply correctly on the stats screen. It is like this even in the default image.

    Secondly, I had an idea to make new planet icons, upscaling was not successful, and creating my own looked absolutely awful. So after speaking with @Effix and showing him my trial and errors, it inspired him to create some that he told me to put in this pack with his blessing.

    Installation:    
    Locate the folder of which you want to install and then place files in override folder.

    Uninstallation:    
    Delete files that you placed in your override

    Compatibility:    
    As long as you are you are using @ndix UR 's High resolution menus I do not see you having any problems. I do not know how it would look without it to be honest.

    I made these with 16:9 in mind. I do not know how they will do in other resolutions. Feel free to let me know.

  18. Wookie Warblade Fix


    This fix was originally made by Redrob41 and was located in one of his large mods. I was given permission by the admins to release it to the public.

    All credits goes to Redrob41, Please contact me if you would like this mod removed.

    This elongates the handle on the blade so your hands no longer grab the blade directly like it used to.

    To install just place the contents in the zip to you override!

    To uninstall just remove the files you place

    This mod is a simple 2da edit that enables all classes to have Persuade as a class skill.
     

    I know there are plenty of mods that unlock EVERYTHING but I guess I prefer to keep the classes with their original flavor. But considering only the PC can use persuade it made no sense to me that a soldier/scout couldn’t be persuasive if they wanted to be.

     

    Installation:

    Run TSLPatcher.exe and locate your swkotor folder

     

    Uninstallation:

    Delete skills.2da or replace with a backup

     

    Compatibility:

    This mod should be compatible with all mods except ones that could edit skills.2da
