  1. K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix - Revan Edition

This is a companion to my  K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix mod. In a similar manner, it adjusts the model file for K1's main menu so that it properly fills the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10). It is designed to be used in conjunction with ndix UR’s KotOR High Resolution Menus mod (as pictured). But of course the major feature is that it swaps out Darth Malak for Darth Revan. There are four versions included:
Version A uses the vanilla Revan N_DarthRevan01 texture, upscaled to 2048x2048. This texture will override the original and be used by the Revan stunt model (or flowing robes mods) during the game. Alternatively, the menu model will make use of any third party texture of the same name, should you prefer those. Version B uses a uniquely named texture, so it will not override the one used in-game, and the menu model will not make use of third party textures. Additionally, the envmap mask on this texture was adjusted to tone down the shininess of the chest and arms, as I found that a bit too overpowering. Version C uses a further modified version of B's texture to also adjust the colour of the helmet/mask visor to make it a little more apparent. Version D takes this a step further and adds a slight glow (self-illumination) to the visor.

Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look.
Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model (including my own - although the replacement KOTOR logos are compatible). As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod.
N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS.
    Installation Instructions
Extract the archive, navigate to the folder that contains your desired version, copy and paste the files into your Override folder, overwriting if prompted. If you are using version A and wish to use someone else's texture, don't copy N_DarthRevan01.tpc. Known Issues
The crossed over belts lack a proper animation, so they are basically static. Even scaled up the Revan model lacks the shoulder width of the Malak model, so crossing the arms was a bit difficult to replicate. Acknowledgements
Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax. Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC. Thanks to @ebmar for enquiring about the feasibility of the Malak/Revan swap, leading me down the rabbit hole of actually making the mod.

  2. Dark Jedi Wear Robes (for JC's Cloaked Jedi Robes Mod)

This mod changes the Dark Jedi appearance (male and female) from a skin tight jumpsuit to the TSL Knight robes (ported to K1 by JCarter). The hood and head of the original models have been retained, with the hood being worked into the torso mesh to make it a more natural looking extension of the cloak. Two extra masked head variants have also been added, ported from the TSL Dark Jedi/Assassins. The Dark Jedi you encounter throughout the game have had their appearances diversified between these three versions, along with swapping a few genders here and there. Additionally, the three Dark Jedi masters on the Star Forge have been given unique appearances.
This mod takes advantage of the port of TSL’s robes added by @JCarter426’s mod “JC's Fashion Line I: Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1”. As such, that mod is a prerequisite. You must at the very least install the supermodels from JC's mod (S_FemaleXX/S_MaleXX), as this mod will not function correctly without those.

    Compatibility:
As mentioned, the mod relies on JC's robes mod. As such, any other mod that alters the supermodels will not be compatible unless based on his supermodels. The mod changes the base vanilla appearances of the four male and one female Dark Jedi. It will not be compatible with any mods that alter those. The mod makes extensive module changes. Make sure that any mods that brute force MOD file installs, like NPC Overhaul or K1R, are installed first. Acknowledgements:

  3. Handmaiden with Long Hair

This mod is a head edit for the Handmaiden that gives her shoulder-length hair. It started life as part of experiments in aid of this request thread - http://deadlystream.com/forum/topic/4335-handmaiden-appearance/

The hair mesh is a transplant from Kreia, with the braids chopped off. In order to accommodate DS transitions, which requires the face and hair to share a single texture, the UVs for both meshes were compressed 50% horizontally to fit side-by-side within 0 to 1 UV space. The Handmaiden and Kreia textures were then combined into a single 1024x512 texture. The versions bundled with the installer are DDS, but I have provided the TGA sources as an additional download for those that may wish to undertake retextures.

Additionally, the clothes models for Handmaiden’s hooded outfit have been modified. The vanilla bodies include the head mesh as part of the model (i.e. functionally speaking it is basically a disguise). Based on my experiments with removing the head and setting it up like a normal body model, it seems that there is an animation synchronisation issue that crops up between the head and the hood, which may be why Obsidian went the full body route. This mod changes the hood outfit models to use the new long haired head mesh. The hood has been enlarged to fit the Handmaiden's new larger hair mesh. Hopefully I've cured the most prominent clipping issues, but possibly in some extreme combat animations some might still occur.

This mod doesn't alter the portraits, so should be compatible with any custom portrait mods. It uses custom model and texture names, so it should be unaffected by simple overrides, like retextures. However, it won't be compatible with any mods that alter the Handmaiden's appearance.2da or heads.2da entries.

  4. Rodian Female NPC Body Model

This mod adds an additional female Rodian appearance for NPCs. It adds a new custom Rodian body model which makes use of a scaled Human female player body. This is primarily intended as a modder’s resource, so textures are very quick and dirty recolours, meant to be replaced with proper ones by the end user. Skin is changed to a purplish-pink, and the clothing changed to a blue jacket, black pants, and a white shirt.

However, for the benefit of regular users, the merchant Geeda on Nar Shaddaa (the only female Rodian in the game) has had her UTC modified to use this new appearance. Note that the change will only work if you have not previously visited Nar Shaddaa, as appearance ID data is stored in your save file.

Additionally, for those that prefer the regular green skinned Rodian look, an optional face/hands texture is supplied. Once this installer has finished, simply copy the TGA inside the OPTIONAL folder and paste into the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

I'll consider adding some additional bodies in the future, as well as a K1 version modder's resource. I also made some male versions a while back for Malkior to use in conjunction with his Rodian reskins, so hopefully he'll release those at some point in the near future. If not, I'll just release the models using the vanilla textures.

  5. Pre-War Style Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes

Adds K1-style Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items a_robe_47 and a_robe_48 to your inventory.

Note: This uses the K1-style Jedi robes mesh. However, it is not a port. While the original medium sized model was replaced by the new movie-style robe for TSL, Obsidian left in the original K1 large and small models for both males and females, along with the female texture. I have rescaled these models to the same size as the medium model, along with making some UV adjustments for the male model to fix various texture stretching issues.

Warning: In order not to replace the existing Obsidian robe models, I have overriden the J model slot – i.e. Revan/Star Forge robes – with the K1-style Jedi robes model. As a result, this mod is not compatible with any other mod that uses PFBJ/PMBJ models, i.e. any Revan/Star Forge robes in TSL mods, or that replaces the model in the J slot in the same manner.

  6. Silver & Gold Trimmed Jedi Robes

Adds Jedi robes with silver and gold trim, styled after the “Silverlined Jedi Robe” mod by Cerasumat, which no longer appears to be available for download.

Use KSE or console command to add items g_a_mstrrobe47 and g_a_mstrrobe48 to your inventory.

Warning: This mod requires an environment map/cube map in order to get the shiny metal effect. In K1 it would appear that an alteration of the “envmap” column in appearance.2da is required to force this for robes (the simple addition of a TXI doesn’t work). This may have unintended effects on other model types, particularly custom textures with transparency. Additionally, the requirement of a 2DA edit means it will not work properly for custom heads without a manual edit of appearance.2da by the enduser. For those that wish to do that, change the envmap column for your custom head rows from DEFAULT to CM_Baremetal.

  7. Lethisk Freighter AKA I-Wing Placeable Modder's Resource for TSL

This is a new mesh made from scratch to replicate the I-Wing shuttle/freighter from K1, the model for which was not included in TSL's files. It was made with the intention to replace the GWing shuttle that the Mandalorians use to take you to Onderon, but it could be used in other ways. It currently includes no texture, just a UV map, so you'll need to make your own texture to make much use of it. Includes ASCII and binary model and walkmesh/collision files.
Free for anyone to use and include in their own mod releases, but you must acknowledge the source. The mesh may not be released by itself or otherwise rehosted elsewhere.

  8. Kreia Visible Body Models

This mod gives Kreia a standalone head so as to display the body models for various equipped armour and robes like the player and most other companions. It also includes a full set of unique one-handed body model variants for her exclusive use after Peragus. Currently does not include underwear or dancer’s outfit models, those just use her default robed appearance.

The head is a composite of the original unused standalone head with hair added in from the full body model. To get the neck to mate properly with the standard body models and hide any gaps in the hair mesh, a far bit of brute force was required. As a result, there might be some texture distortion, and possibly some bad deformation with certain head animations. Also, the hair, both the braids and the back, clips badly with certain body meshes. There’s not really much I can do about that.

Note that this mod only overrides the initial and “gimped” appearances. It doesn’t modify the stunt, evil, or seppuku appearances, so hopefully it should be fully compatible with TSLRCM.

This mod originated as a modder's resource I posted over at LucasForums back in 2014 - http://www.lucasforums.com/showthread.php?p=2851410#post2851410

  9. Party Time Sith - DS Player Main Menu Replacement for TSL

This mod changes the main menu variant featuring the Dark Side player (CurSithLord=4). The original version of the mod used the dancing Twi'lek Assassins from the Easter Egg menu. The revised version now adds two additional options featuring Dark Side versions of certain party members.

    Mira, Visas, and Brianna:

    Mira and Visas:

    Twi'lek Assassins:

As per my TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen mod, fixes/adjustments for widescreen aspect ratios have now been incorporated into this mod. I would advise installing that mod first to gain access to the improvements in the other menus. Additionally, I have adjusted one of the dancing animations used in the menu (by Mira and the light coloured Twi'lek) to fix an issue at the end of the animation loop where there was a pause for a few frames which caused some noticeable jankiness. I've also properly fixed the texture issue on one of the Twi'leks, so if you were using the older version of this mod you can safely delete N_TwiAssasin01H.tga from your Override folder.

    Instructions:
To install, simply choose your desired version and copy mainmenu05.mdl and mainmenu05.mdx to your Override folder. To uninstall, simply delete those two files from your Override folder. If you are using my widescreen menu fix mod, overwrite when prompted.

    Known Issues
Obviously it won't be compatible with any other mods that replace the mainmenu05 model files. Note that any texture mods that alter the Twin Suns Assassins will also affect this mod. I'm unsure whether the Brianna version will be suitable for 4:3 resolutions (or a non-widescreen patched version).

Thanks to TeamTwi'lek* for their secret tool project that made editing and compiling the menu models possible

  10. Trandoshans Rescaled for K1

Based on the discussion in this thread, this mod scales Trandoshans up in size to approximately the same height as Wookiees rather than the Human-size the vanilla versions are. Not compatible with other mods that change the N_Trandoshan model or appearance.2da entries (textures are ok).

  11. Scoundrel Clothes with Scout Legs For K1

Based on this request thread, this mod edits the Scoundrel class starter clothes to use the legs from the Scout class. It's a hybrid of the two models, with custom UVs to make use of both textures. Two versions are provided, the original Scoundrel jacket with the strip of pockets on the left, and one without the pockets. Additionally, the female texture for the pocketless version was edited to remove the strange detail on the right side. Simply place the desired version in your Override folder.

    Notes:
This will is not compatible with any other mod that alters the Scoundrel clothes model (PFBBS/PMBBS), that alter the Scoundrel textures (PFBBS01/PMBBS01), or change the Scoundrel's (small player size) appearance.2da entries for the ModelB/TexB columns.

The models used by the Scoundrel class are by default "small". I have upsized these models to "medium", the same as the Scout class (and what TSL uses for all classes). You may wish to use a mod that changes the rest of the Scoundrel body models to medium, or edit appearance.2da yourself to do so.

  12. Cup of Caf Recovery Item for K1

This mod adds a new type of stimulant item that will remove status effects applied to the user. There is a bug with the game that in some instances causes effects such as Slow to be applied to the player/party (semi-)permanently, with no practical in-game way to remove them.
To use, simply add the "Cup of Caf" item (g_i_adrnaline025) to your inventory via KSE or console command. It will appear in the GUI alongside other stimulants like adrenals and is used in the same manner. Each item is single use and will remove ALL status effects currently applied to the user. This includes both positive and negative effects, so take care when you use it. It is intended as more of last resort bug fix item than for general use.
The droid-specifc companion mod, Droid Oil Bath, is available here.
    Known Issues:
Uses the "inject into thigh" animation like all stims/meds. I did attempt to disable that, but I suspect it is hardcoded. Acknowledgements:
Thanks to @JCarter426 for pointing out the cause of the bug and coming up with the original script fix Cup image/icon modified from "Coffee cappuccino cup" by PikWizard Gulp sound effect modified from "gulping and drinking_1-2" by schatzl03 / Freesound

  13. Mission Vao Player's Head (Modder's Resource)

This is something I fished out of my junk pile that I thought someone may find a use for. It is Mission's head model that has had the UVs adjusted to fit her face and lekku onto a single texture (because I am lazy, just her face and body texture side-by-side). This allows for DS transitions, which is not possible with the vanilla Mission head because it uses two different textures.

The model is supplied with placeholder textures (colour shifted to test DS transitions), temp portraits, and a full TSLPatcher setup. All it needs is some new textures/portraits and it is ready to go.

The revised version includes an optional head mesh with the lekku UVs scaled to make better use of the available UV space, including revised placeholder texture. UV templates are now included for both versions.

  14. K1 Thigh-High Boots For Female Twi'lek Body (Modder's Resource)

Here's another bit of scrap from my junk pile that someone may find a use for. A little while back I made some thigh-high boots for Bastila when Quanon was working on her Taris prisoner outfit. He didn't end up using them, so I tossed them into the abyss with my other rejects. The other day I was looking at the female Twi'lek body models for some reason, and I noticed that (the base version at least) has painted on thigh-high boots. On a whim, I imported my boot mesh and noted that, height-wise, they lined up almost perfectly. Even more interestingly, my UVs were very close in layout to the Twi'lek's legs, so much so that is was fairly trivial to rejig them to fit the existing textures. In practice I'm not sure how much purpose this serves, as from a distance it's basically impossible to tell the difference between painted on boots and my physically modelled boots, at least using vanilla textures, but I figured someone might find some use for it.
Because the vanilla female Twi'lek model has existing animations (dancing), I have provided a hex edited copy of the original which is now used as the supermodel. That way the booted variant is a simple Override drop-in with no 2DA editing required. I have also provided some additional versions suitable for use as player bodies that use the regular S_Female03 supermodel, as well as being scaled to large, medium, and small.
I've supplied modified versions for those variation textures that don't have boot textures. There is also an optional variant of the base green variation which has black boots instead of red. The intent of course, given how terrible the vanilla textures are, is that someone will release a proper high quality retextured version, but the NPC portion is useable out of the box if people so desire.
You are free to incorporate the contents of this mod into your own work, as long as proper credit is provided. Do not redistribute the mod by itself.

  16. Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Flowing Robes For TSL

This mod changes the models for the Darth Revan/Star Forge robes to a modified version with the cape and belts seen on the cutscene version of Revan’s robes, but without the raised hood and mask.

Alternative models with different arrangements of cape/belts/folded hood are available in the mod’s OPTIONAL folder. Once you have finished installing the mod, you may copy and paste the MDL/MDXs from relevant folder to the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

This mod relies on Hunters Run’s Revans Flowing Robe TSL mod for the animations. You can download that mod from here:

    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/216-revans-flowing-robe-tsl/

Extract n_darthrevan.mdl and n_darthrevan.mdx to your Override folder. If you do not have this mod then you will not have any animations for the cloak or belts.

    How to Obtain:
When Atris captured the Ebon Hawk, amongst the unencrypted data she downloaded from T3's memory core she discovered some interesting information regarding Darth Revan and his robes. She stored this data for later analysis, turning to the more pressing matter of the Exile's arrival on her doorstep.

While at the hidden academy on Telos, in the room before you get to T3 you can access the robe data via a console and manufacture a set of robes with the fabrication unit in the same room:

    Notes:
The male version is a straight replacement for the PMBJ model, so it will not be compatible with any other mod that replaces/modifies that model, or changes the values for that column in appearance.2da. Because of the way animations work, the female version must be set up as a disguise, so it uses its own independent models and appearance.2da rows and is unaffected by changes to the PFBJ model or appearance.2da values. Note, however, that this means it is not compatible with custom female head models.

The Darth Revan robes use the vanilla PMBJ01 texture, and is compatible with texture replacements from other mods. The vanilla texture for the Star Forge robes, PMBJ02, has no provision for the cape or belts, so I have provided a very basic replacement with those sections coloured. I suggest that you replace this with a better quality texture from another mod. I recommend ZM_StarForgeA08 from ZimmMaster's Revan's Jedi Robes mod. Download that mod here:

    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/466-revans-jedi-robes/

Extract Zimm’s texture from his mod’s tslpatchdata folder, rename it to PMBJ02.tga, and then put it in your Override folder, overwriting when prompted. Make sure you do this after installing the current mod! Additionally, grab the TXI from the OPTIONAL folder and place that in the Override folder as well.

    Known Issues:
There will be some clipping during certain animations. Some of this is related to the animations, some of it the meshes. If you spot something particularly egregious, then let me know in the comments and I may be able to address it if it is model-related.

Currently there are no limitations on the generator. You can fabricate either set of robes regardless of alignment, and you can make as many copies as you like (with the caveat of course that once you leave the academy, you permanently lose access to the fabricator). I may change this in future.

If you are using TSLRCM, or another mod that has added 262tel.mod to your Modules folder, you will get a warning from TSLPatcher that this file already exists and was skipped. This is intended behaviour and not an error.

    Acknowledgements:
Thanks to Hunters Run for the n_darthrevan flowing robes animations, without which this mod would not be possible.
Many thanks to Fair Strides and bead-v for looking over my scripts, fixing/checking for errors and streamlining syntax.
Thanks to DarthTyren for his tutorial on camera placement (although I had to source the quaternion conversion elsewhere)

  17. Revan's Hoodless/Maskless Flowing Robes For K1

This mod changes the models for the robes you receive on the Star Forge (Darth Revan’s robes for dark side or Star Forge robes for light side) to a modified version with the cape and belts seen on the cutscene version, but without the raised hood and mask.
Alternative models with different arrangements of cape/belts/folded hood are available in the mod’s OPTIONAL folder. Once you have finished installing the mod, you may copy and paste the MDL/MDXs from relevant folder to the Override folder, overwriting when prompted.

This mod relies on Sithspecter’s Revan's Flowing Cape and Belt Fix mod for the animations. You can download that mod from here:
    http://deadlystream.com/forum/files/file/709-revans-flowing-cape-and-belt-fix/
Extract n_darthrevan.mdl and n_darthrevan.mdx to your Override folder (you don’t need to install the rest of that mod’s files, but it is fine to do so). If you do not have this mod then you will not have any animations for the cloak or belts.
    How to Obtain:
The mod retains the vanilla route to obtaining the robes, namely accessing the fabrication computer on Deck 2 of the Star Forge. However, in order to allow people to get the robes early, I have added a new fabricator on Dantooine. It is located inside the Aratech Mercantile room next to the Ebon Hawk's landing pad at the Jedi Enclave:

In order to use this component of the mod, you must run the installer a second time and choose the option Dantooine fabricator from the drop-down list.
    Notes:
This mod is not compatible with any other mod that changes/replaces the scripts for the computer on the Star Forge that grants you the robes, k_psta_replicat4 and k_psta_replicat5.

Currently there are no limitations on the Dantooine generator. You can fabricate either set of robes regardless of alignment, and you can make as many copies as you like. I may change this in future.
If you are using the K1 Community Patch, the K1 Restoration mod, or another mod that has added danm13.mod to your Modules folder, you will get a warning from TSLPatcher that this file already exists and was skipped. This is intended behaviour and not an error.

  18. Bao-Dur Head Model Neck Fix

This is a modder's resource that adjusts the position of Bao-Dur's neck vertices so that they match the standard position of other heads. Bao-Dur's vanilla head will "float" if attached to standard bodies. This adjustment ensures the base of his neck will seat properly with the collars of standard body models, which is a necessity for potential future mods like Bao-Dur specific robes.

  19. Kel Dor Modder's Resource for K1

NOTE TO ENDUSERS – THIS IS NOT INTENDED AS A PLAYABLE MOD!

This pack is a modder’s resource containing a custom Kel Dor head and modified body models with Kel Dor hands. This installer will perform a basic heads.2da and appearance.2da NPC row setup along with simple body variation UTCs for testing purposes. An on-enter script that spawns the UTCs next to the Ebon Hawk on Dantooine is provided in the TEST SCRIPT folder. Simply copy and paste the two NCS files into your Override folder.

Textures are provided with a basic placeholder diffuse for the head and a simple UV map for the hands. Because of the single texture requirement for variants, the hands have to share UV space with the body. This necessitated altering the UV layouts for all body models, compressing them 50% to make use of 1024x512 textures (original 512x512 body texture side-by-side with 512x512 hand texture). As such, the bodies are not compatible with third party textures/reskins. However, all models and textures use unique names, so there should be no conflicts/incompatibilities.

The head model has basic skin weights. The respirator mask has been weighted to the jaw to give it some movement during NPC dialogue, but possibly this may be a bit extreme. You may wish to experiment with your own adjustments to the skin weights, although it should be fine as-is for a player head, as they don't have any major jaw animation.

  21. TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen

This mod adjusts the model files for TSL's main menu so that they properly fill the full screen width of widescreen aspect ratios (i.e. 16:9, 16:10).
By default, the vanilla menus will have gaps in the background at each side of the screen. This is an inherent issue of the model being designed for 4:3 aspect ratios, so when a widescreen mod (or Aspyr's version) is used, areas of the model are exposed that were not anticipated by Obsidian. This mod addresses the issue by scaling the width of the background plane so that it spans the full width of the screen, and adding an additional VFX emitter to the bottom right of the screen so that the fog also spans the full width. Additionally, a minor correction is made to the Easter egg menu to properly apply the appropriate texture to the eyes, eyelids, teeth, and tongue of one of the Twi'leks, which are untextured in the vanilla version. See the attached pictures for an illustration of the changes.
I have edited all 6 menu models, but in practice only 4 of those are typically used in the game (although TSLRCM does also make use of the Easter egg menu). I've included them all to cover all/most eventualities.
Note that this mod primarily adjusts the menu models. No changes are made to the background texture, so any custom version of that texture will work with this mod as well. Per a user request, I have added adjusted logo images to address the stretching on those (they are not part of the model). Both vanilla and TSLRCM versions are included (permission to modify/redistribute the TSLRCM logo provided by zbyl2).
As of v1.2, I have added optional TOR-style logos. These are based on the one GOG created for K1.
Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu models like, for example, my own DS player menu mod (although that can be installed over the top of this mod). Any update for TSLRCM will presumably overwrite the Easter Egg menu and the logo.
N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just a fix for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS or Aspyr's natively widescreen version.
    Installation Instructions
Copy the MDL and MDX files from the "FOR OVERRIDE FOLDER" and paste them into your Override folder If you have TSLRCM, additionally copy the files from the FOR TSLRCM, overwriting when prompted in both cases If you wish to use the TOR-style logo, versions are supplied to fix stretching for those without a GUI fix, or unaltered if you use a GUI fix mod. Make sure you delete any existing KOTOR2Logo.tga in your Override. If you use Aspyr's version of TSL on Steam with TSLRCM installed from the Workshop, you'll need to use TSLRCM's Workshop folder Override folder instead. If you use M4-78, use its Override. Acknowledgements
Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit, that made compiling the menu models possible Thanks to @ndix UR for TGA2TPC Thanks to VarsityPuppet for testing 16:10 compatibility Thanks to @JCarter426 for helping with improving some aliasing issues via waifu2x

  22. K1 Main Menu Widescreen Fix

This is a companion to my TSL Main Menu Model Fix for Widescreen mod.
Because the original vanilla background texture is very low resolution, it looks pretty terrible when scaled up to fullscreen at 1080 (or above). I created a new, higher resolution background texture that approximates the same look.
As of v1.1, an optional replacement logo is provided. This is a TOR-style version of the logo, created by GOG. Two versions are provided, one of which is offset in order to better align using the current version of ndix UR's GUI mod. A centered version is also provided in the even that the GUI mod is updated. Note that I have only tested this at 1080. I have no idea how the image may be positioned at different resolutions.
Obviously this mod will not be compatible with any other mod that also alters/replaces the menu model. As mentioned, it is intended to be used with ndix UR’s UI mod, and serves no real purpose without that mod.
N.B.: This is NOT a widescreen mod! This is just an addition for when you are already using a widescreen mod like UniWS.
    Installation Instructions
Extract the archive, copy the MDL, MDX, and TGA files, and paste them into your Override folder. If you also wish to use the upscaled vanilla logo or the TOR-style logo, copy the appropriate version to your Override folder as well. Acknowledgements
Thanks to @bead-v for MDLEdit and KOTORMax that made editing and compiling the menu model possible. Thanks to @ndix UR for testing the mod and various discussions pertaining to its development, as well as all the behind-the-scenes work in getting the new mod tools off the ground. 23. Diversified Wounded Republic Soldiers on Taris

Based on this request thread, this mod attempts to inject a bit of extra variety into one of the minor elements of KOTOR. It makes some changes to the locked kolto tank room in Zelka Forn’s medical clinic in Upper City South on Taris.
In the vanilla version of the game, the room has two placeable square kolto tanks, the floating bodies in which both use the PMHC04 (“Mullet Man”) head. For this mod, those were removed and the room model was edited to add two additional round kolto tanks, which match the ones along each side of the room. Additionally, the glass of the tanks had its texture replaced with one of the other variants in the game that is a bit darker and uses an environment/cube map for a hint of reflection. The empty tanks in the preceding room (behind Zelka Forn) were also edited for consistency. For the sanity of those with OCD, the position of the wall light at the back of the tank room was adjusted so it aligns with the centreline of the room.

The floating body model from the kolto placeable was replaced with a new one with clean geometry at the neck join to facilitate using any player or NPC head. Additionally, an all-new female body variant was added, posed to roughly match that of the original male version. Two of these new body variants replaced the original two at the end of the room, with a number of additional bodies placed in the tanks along each side of the room. Zelka Forn’s dialogue when you enter the room for the first time seems to indicate that there should be more present than just the two originally depicted in the vanilla game. Additional body variants not currently utilised in this mod will be released separately as a modder’s resource.
UPDATE: Due to limitations on the number of possible placeables K1 can deal with, outlined here by ndix UR, I have revised the mod to dispense with the use of placeables altogether. The floating bodies are now part of the room model.

    Known Issues:
This mod relies on editing the Taris Upper City South module (TAR_M02AC). As such, it will not be compatible with any save in which you have previously entered the Upper City South level. Given that is the very first level you enter after leaving the starting apartment on Taris, that means you'll typically need to start a new game to utilise this mod. Per some of my posts in the original request thread, I initially experienced some issues with the tank’s glass texture affecting lighting on the body models (and even outright visibility in one instance) depending on the player’s viewing angle. I believe this has been resolved, but it’s possible the problem may still occur on hardware/OS combinations that I have no way of testing. The floating bodies use these player head models. There is no provision for dealing with a clone of the head the player is using now that the mod has switched to incorporating the bodies into the room model. A future update may replace these heads with NPC heads instead. Compatibility:
Edited versions of both room models for the medical facility (M02AC_02G & M02AC_02H) are required for this mod, so will not be compatible with any other mod that edits those models. They still use vanilla textures however, so they will be compatible with texture mods. The mod will not be compatible with any mod that edits the two entries for the original tank placeables in the module’s GIT (Placeable List entries 0 and 22). It should otherwise be compatible with other mods that alter the Upper City South module, as long as they utilise a properly set up TSLPatcher configuration. Since it has come up in the comments, Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod is compatible, but ONLY if you install it before installing this mod (KP's mod will forcibly overwrite any and all module files, so install it before anything). The floating bodies currently use vanilla player face and underwear textures, so will be affected by any mods that alter those. Future versions of the mod may alter that, however. Acknowledgements:
Thanks to bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit, and ndix UR for MDLOps 2K18 Edition, all of which were required at various points to get this to work. Thanks to ndix UR for many and various discussions and troubleshooting regarding models, compiling, textures, etc.

  24. Taris Escape Sequence Adjustments

This mod makes some edits to the three scenes that occur during the escape from Taris sequence.
The first of these is the “Resume the bombardment” cutscene on the bridge of the Leviathan. During this scene, it’s possible that the player and party may spawn at the back of the bridge, being visible behind Malak. An edit to the module has been made to ensure that this doesn’t occur (technically they are still there, they have simply been moved out of sight). Additionally, two of the background crew NPCs appeared to be incorrectly positioned, so one of these was shunted sideways to better respect personal space.
The second is the “Incoming fighters!” cutscene in the Ebon Hawk’s cockpit, just prior to the turret mini-game. In the vanilla version of this cutscene, only Bastila and Carth were included. If your previous party included any members besides those two, they would just spawn in the hallway, possibly blocking the camera in the opening shot. This scene has been altered so that the entire party (at this point in the game) is now present in the cockpit. Mission and Canderous take the two passenger seats, with Zaalbar standing behind Mission and T3-M4 attending to astrogation duties.
The third scene is again in the Ebon Hawk’s cockpit, after the fighter mini-game. The order of pre-rendered cutscenes has been altered here. In the vanilla game, after destroying all the Sith fighters, you see a video of the Ebon Hawk doing a victory roll and then jumping to hyperspace, after which you have a conversation on the Ebon Hawk bridge with Bastila and Carth where it implies you have already landed on Dantooine. Yet following this conversation, you get a pre-rendered cutscene showing you approaching and landing on the planet. This was clearly done in order to mask the module loading in the background on the Xbox. The landing movie has now been moved in front of the conversation, and the skybox in the Ebon Hawk changed to Dantooine so that the sequence makes more logical sense. Additionally, Carth, Bastila, and the player all have any equipped weapons and masks/goggles hidden for the duration of the conversation.

    Specific Changes:
STUNT_06 - Edited the module's IFO to offset the entry position and hide the player/party. STUNT_06 - Edited the module's GIT to offset the position of n_sithcomf001. Technically out of shot currently. STUNT_07 - Edited the module's onload script to spawn the entire party into the scene STUNT_07 - Created a scene-specific stunt animation for T3-M4 (computer use). STUNT_07 - Created a scene-specific stunt animation for Mission (sitting). STUNT_07 - Created a scene-specific stunt animation for Canderous (sitting). STUNT_07 - Created a scene-specific stunt animation for Zaalbar (standing/idle). STUNT_07 - Edited the scene-specific stunt animation for the player (m12aa_c07_char01.mdl/mdx) to make them run towards the turret ladder instead of past it. M12ab - Replaced the heartbeat and k_pebo_sthdeath2 - 7 scripts with modified versions to chain movies and switch Ebon Hawk skybox Override - Edited the Ebon Hawk cockpit model (m12aa_01p.mdl/mdx) to add an astromech-accessible panel below the galaxy map. Override - Edited ebo_bast_vision.dlg to change UnequipItems and UnequipHItem flags, and replace script k_ebn12_dantrans with a custom one. Override - Added custom script DP_TarisDanTran. Known Issues:
Bastila and Carth are still visibly "air typing". I did attempt to alter the camera animations to mask it, but this actually introduced more problems (stuttering camera moves and revealing previously hidden janky animations). This probably requires more extensive cockpit model alterations to address, but I'm unsure if that is worth the effort, or what effect this might have on other cutscenes. Alternatively, the stunt animations, primarily Bastila's, could be adjusted, but that probably requires someone more talented than me. The animations for Mission and Canderous aren't going to win any Oscars. Acknowledgements:
Thanks to @Fair Strides for suggesting the IFO edit. Thanks to @ndix UR for permission to use the edited EH cockpit model from “Ebon Hawk K1 Fixes” as a basis and discussions troubleshooting model issues. Thanks to @jc2 for the idea to edit the player's dash to the turret animation. Thanks to @N-DReW25 for the suggestion to add a door to the back of the Leviathan bridge. Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit, and @ndix UR for MDLOps 2K18 Edition, all of which were required at various points to get this to work. Thanks to @JCarter426 for providing and troubleshooting the scripts required to change the Ebon Hawk skybox and movie order during the Dantooine arrival sequence. Compatibility:
The core changes should be compatible with most other mods. Odds are fairly low someone else has made the specific changes to the stunt and turret modules that would clash with this. Changes to ebo_bast_vision.dlg are injected into any pre-existing copy of the file found in the Override folder. For example, K1 Restoration puts a copy of this file in the Override folder, so as long as you install K1R first, this mod will patch that file. If you subsequently install another mod that directly overwrites this file (again, such as K1R), then the changes will be lost. If you see weapons and masks equipped during the aforementioned post-vision dialogue then you know this is the case. This is a minor aesthetic change and does not affect the core content of the mod. If you wish to use ndix UR’s “Ebon Hawk K1 Fixes” mod, make sure you install that first, as this mod will overwrite the model for the cockpit. The cockpit-specific fixes from ndix UR’s mod have been incorporated into this version. In the same vein, any other mod that uses a modified version of the Ebon Hawk cockpit model (m12aa_01p.mdl/mdx) will result in a clash.

  25. Diversified Jedi Captives on the Star Forge

Based on this request thread, this mod replaces the Jedi captive placeables used in the final confrontation with Darth Malak aboard the Star Forge. In the vanilla version of the game, these are all identical copies of the same male body using the PMHC04 (“Mullet Man”) head. New male and female versions of this placeable have been made, utilising a variety of heads from all three human races, and Twi’leks. All eight captives in the level are now unique and distinct from one another.
Additionally, the flavour pop-up text for when you interact with the captives has been altered to change the male pronouns into neutral ones, so they work regardless of the subject’s gender.
For those that wish it, an optional extra is included that adds these new Jedi as background NPCs to the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine (N.B. as of v1.1, the pictured sparring circle has been removed due to the placeables.2da row limit bug described below).
    Known Issues:
WARNING: A critical issue has been discovered with K1's placeables.2da, limiting the number of additional new entires that can be added to around 20 rows. This mod adds 8 rows. If you use multiple mods that add new rows to placeables.2da, you will likely encounter issues. DO NOT REINSTALL THIS MOD OVER A PREVIOUS VERSION! You will create the placeable overflow issue. In order for the Dantooine portion of the optional extra to take effect, you must use a save prior to leaving Taris. The courtyard portion will only take effect for saves prior to being allowed to exit the Academy. These additions are purely cosmetic, so their absence will have no material affect on the primary purpose of the mod. The core content of the mod will only work with a save prior to entering the final room on the Star Forge, but I assume (hope) most people aren't still installing mods that late in proceedings. Compatibility:
The mod is compatible with K1CP. Make sure you install K1CP first. The core content of the mod should be compatible with most other mods, as the changes are restricted to the second-last module in the game (STA_M45AD). The optional content makes changes to the Dantooine Enclave's landing pad (DANM13) and courtyard (DANM14AA) modules. If you are using any mod that overwrites those modules (like Kainzorus Prime's NPC Overhaul Mod), make sure you install that mod first. This mod will patch its changes into pre-existing module files, so should be installed last. Changes in 1.2.1 should mean the Twi'lek master in the optional Dantooine content is now impervious to further hostile robe takeover attempts. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Jedi Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the TSL robes. If you use @JCarter426's "Fashion Line I - Cloaked Hybrid Robes for K1" mod, you can download the supplied compatibility patch to have him wear the hybrid robes. Acknowledgements:
Thanks to @Kexikus for providing code for the NPC OnHeartbeat scripts. Thanks to @jc2 for the suggestion on how to fix the sparring circle combatant health bars. Thanks to @JCarter426 for suggesting the NotReorienting creature flag and for the TSL ported robe assets. Thanks to @bead-v for KOTORMax and MDLEdit. Thanks to @ndix UR for MDLOps v1.0+ and TGA2TPC. Thanks to @StellarExile for pointing out the issue with VFX targeting the base of the model. I must be blind... Thanks to @todevuch for testing the hybrid robes compatibility patch. Thanks to @olegkuz1997 for pointing out that the placeables didn't use TLK StrRefs for their labels.
