  1. In your opinion - Could a Sith carry a lightsaber that’s not red?

Isn't there some weird lore excuse that the red lightsabers are just an easier way to have power? Why we must assume all sith would think the same is beyond me. :)

Plus, the original "Sith" were just jedi who did mean things, so they hadn't all decided to wear black and sport red sabers yet.

      So, in short, yes.

That so? I just assumed it’s a tradition to mock Jedi. (Which, from my point of view, seems to be the case with plenty of Sith philosophy. A major reason why I’m so keen in deconstructing that trope... but more about that later.) Makes sense to a degree, given that it was created by exiles, but nonetheless.

I’m a fan of the black clothing, though. It definitely suits people who prefer staying in shadows. I’m pretty sure there’s a reason why ninjas don’t wear neon pink.

In the old pre-Disney canon it was not unusual thing for Sith and Dark Jedi to wield sabers of all colors. For example, Exar Kun used his blue double-bladed saber even after becoming a Sith Lord.

IIRC, Jedi used natural crystals which produced blades of all colors except red. Sith usually used synthetic crystals which could produce blade of any color, including red. It was also believed that Sith-made synthetic crystals created a slightly more powerful blade when energized by the dark side of the Force.

But now Disney changed everything in a VERY STUPID way. From Wookiepedia:

"Kyber crystals were inherently attuned to the light side of the Force, and would attempt to resist any effort by dark side practitioners to use them in lightsabers. To this end, the only way a Sith, or other darksider could make use of a kyber crystal was to use the Force to dominate the crystal, bending it to their will. This process would cause the crystal to "bleed", as if it were a living organism, resulting in the distinctive crimson-bladed lightsabers synonymous with the Sith."

So in new (Disney) canon a Dark-sider cannot use non-red saber.
