    Struggling with this Kotor Remake that will inevitably be butchered. Sucks because I love this part of Star Wars. but...

      I'm expecting the Sleheyron planet mod to be finished with other people having already made texture mods for it already before this remake is released.

    Went to Fassa to finish the pylon quest...

    ... He doesn't give you quest rewards once you're past level 25.

    Got back into Kotor modding and Deadlystream cause of Kotor 2's mobile port announcement, great early christmas gift.

    I decided to try Brotherhood of Shadow along with my other 14GB of Kotor mods. From the save provided with the mod, it's worked fantastically well from start to finish, with only a few tidbits here needing some obvious patching. I'm stunned by how little I have to fix.

      I was also under the impression that mod assets from creators who cannot be contacted can be "borrowed" for new mods as long as extra additions or modifications to it are made and that credit is given in the new mod description/readme. That is, of course, under the condition that the mod be removed immediately if the original creator eventually finds out and does not approve of their content being uploaded.

      I think he was more referring to DarthToasy's type of work, which covered all weapon models.

      He already ported his blaster models for Kotor 2, and I could port his sword models to Kotor 2 if I wasn't so lazy. I might get around to doing that soon

    I wonder if Lucasarts and Obsidian intentionally  modeled G0-T0 after the Imperial Interrogation droid and if G0-T0's yacht was modeled after the Trade Federation control ship.

      G0T0 was inspired by a mix of the imperial interrogator droid and the hal 9000 AI.

      As for his ship, I get more star trek vibes than star wars looking at it, its pretty cool.

      The Steam workshop for Kotor 1 & 2 should just be an empty page with nothing but a URL for Deadlystream anyway.

      I like The Force Unleashed, too! I think it's a pretty decent game. I always enjoy playing it.

      Doesn't hold a candle to the old Star Wars classics, but it's alright. If you want a fun new experience playing it, download the vader mod for it that lets you play as vader throughout the whole campaign.

      You know, I honestly think BF2 now is a really good game! I love playing it. The multiplayer is great, the instant action/customizable singleplayer fights are also really fun.

      The campaign story still sucks. But hey, so does the storyline for the new trilogy in general. 😧 Can't blame the game devs really for that.

    It seems to be when a company goes out of there way to please the "fans" it's always some of the worst imaginable stuff possible, and those of us that didn't ask for it or want it, don't seem to much matter.

    Lol a "certain movie" Disney released a couple a months ago had me thinking if KOTOR 3 is ever made we would see things like Revan and Carth dying (no funeral, sorry Carth), Canderous would be an overweight drunk who abandons his people, Bastila would be so useless and have a "haircut",  HK-47 would no longer want to kill and instead spends his time at DexterJettster's diner chilling with fans, and The Exile would find a way to make sure she can't the person is she now. 

    So yeah, I'll stick with TJM if Disney ever releases a KOTOR 3. LOL!

      I really hope they don't make a Kotor 3. Seriously, if they make one, it'll be mediocre or nowhere near as good as what Kotor 2 had built up. 

      If they do anything Kotor-related, just give us a remake at most.

    This article is pretty spot on, although the author apparently has not played a level 30 character in TSL where you cut through NPCs like butter in the Trayus Academy.

      I don't see the problems, feels like a pretty good tribute to all those wonderful MS paint reskin mods we got back from around 2004-5. I almost feel nostalgic.

    Shame we can't go inside Jolee's hut on Kashyyyk. I doubt there would be much inside, but it would be neat to look.

      Well, the Yavin IV planet mod uses the Shadowlands module and in front of Jolees hut is a republic soldier who speaks selkath. That may have been why.

      That mod was so ambitious but it had so little to work with back then lol
