I've been working on a mod for KOTOR 2 for the past year and a half solo. The mod is my vision of what KOTOR 3 could have been. The mod starts 5 years before the events of KOTOR 2 and a month after the end of the original KOTOR. The mod will ignore the 'canon" set by SWTOR. The mod will span 5 or more years. You will be able to control both Revan and the Exile during specific plot points. In the beginning of the mod you are in a locked room only with a terminal. When you click on the terminal you will be asked questions like. What gender was Revan and the Exile and what alignment were they? There are two paths to the mod one is a lightside path the other is darkside path. Depending on your answers you will either start as Darth Revan on his flagship or if you use the lightside you will start off as the Prodigal Knight on a big planet. Think Taris but bigger. There will be two big planets and several small planets. The smaller planets are the enemy's slave worlds. For now I will not reveal who the enemy are. All I would say they are more brutal than both the Mandalorians and Sith. This enemy is the reason for both Revan and Malak's fall, and is the threat Kreia speaks of. Also you will start off at max level so you can choose the attributes and powers for your Revan and Exile. In the beginning you will play as Revan, once the time comes to play as the Exile you will be taken to the character creation screen where you can customize the Exile. The reason why you will start off at max level is because the enemy will be tough, and since they are dead to the Force they will have high saves making them almost immune to your Force powers. There will be human and other alien slave warriors that can be killed with the Force. I do not recommend playing as a Jedi Consular or Sith Lord unless you want a challenge. Also I forgot to say depending on your alignment you will either get all your K1 companions (Lightside) or only Bastila, Canderous, HK47, and T3M4 (Darkside). The Exile will also get all their K2 companions. Since I don't have the luxury of hiring the original voice actors. The mod will be using spliced dialogue you since their voices. I will need to recruit voice actors for the new npc's and temporary companions. Also I will need to recruit a texture artist to reskin the modules and a talented scripter. But that's in the near future for now I am busy with world building, audio, npc's, dialogue, and items. Well that's all for now. When I get the modules retextured I will post screenshots. If you know anyone who is a texture artist, voice actor, or scripter let me know either here or by PM. If anyone has suggestion let me know also. Todo list for now: Put together 5 more planets one will be big and the enemy's homeworld. Currently 3 out of the four Republic planets are done. Finish Revan's Flagship. I am using the Leviathan module as a base and am having some issues like, locating textures for it and were to put the rest of the K1 files. Module 90% done. I used this tutorial: Finish replacing npc's with new npc's on planets already done.

Sorry for the very late reply - no, it's very unlikely that I will continue this old series. However, the unreleased textures on my HDD are advancements of those Mods and I hope to find the time to release them. ----------------------------------------------------- The mod is NOT dead, though I can't promise anything, I hope I can release the K1 version soon. Short glimse of the remade red/white cantina sign seen here: Set the flame and let it burn:

Welcome to DS! Good luck with this, but here's where you can find your answer. Note the game actually has t3-m4 as t3m3, there was a change to the name during development, so the tag for your party member t3m4 is actually t3m3 sometimes. That's the case here. Kotor Tool > BIFs > Models.bif > Aurora Model > (go to p_t3m3.mdl) > p_t3m3.mdx. And there you have it, though it is important to note that it is in alphabetic order so the p is a little ways down. Edit: as for if it effects other astromechs, I really don't know.

I agree with you Korriban feels crammed in. It would have been cool to revisit Dreshdae and explore it. Also, I find it very sad the only decent Jedi master (Vash) that wasn't a sheep like Zez and Kavar is just killed off without getting a conversation on it. I'd rather she had lived (as in not going to Dantooine) and be the first of the old Jedi to realize how flawed and screwed up they were, but alas. I also wish you could back and explore Onderon again after the civil war to see it back to normal. Speaking of that, I feel like Canderous was affected by the rush released date. It would have been nice to see him talk about Revan more and explain why he's apparently not on speaking terms with Carth. Like maybe have them all meet up again during or after the Battle of Telos would have been cool imo.

-------------------------------------- Installed BEFORE enter in the Secret Tomb of the Shyrack Cave -------------------------------------- 112 - Dustil Restoration By @Fallen Guardian https://deadlystream.com/files/file/343-dustil-restoration/?tab=comments ------------------------------------ 113 - Workbench Crystal Attunement 1.2 By @Markus Ramikin (temporary installation, see below) https://deadlystream.com/files/file/18-workbench-crystal-attunement/?tab=comments ------------------------------------ @jc2 Finally I could check the MOD 'Workbench Crystal Attunement 1.2' and it works fine. As I guessed it cancels the dialog options of 'Holowan Duplisaber Beta .215b' in the workbench. After tune my Crystal I've saved the game, quit and restored the original "workbnch.dlg" in the Override folder. Again in game, the dialog options from H.D.B. are there and I can built hilts again without problems ...and my Crystal is tunned!! I've checked it in two ways (using the workbench of the Ebon Hawk with H.D.B. working): 1- game saved OUTSIDE the EH, quit game, exchange the file, load, enter the EH and check the workbench, the attunement option works. Go outside the Hawk, save again, quit game and exchange again the file, load, enter the Hawk, check and H.D.B works again. 2- Saving INSIDE the Ebon Hawk, quit game, exchange file, load game, check, TUNE the crystal, save again, quit, exchange again the file, load, check and Holowan Duplisaber works again. The trick works even without be needed use a Save made in a different game module where the workbench is located. ----------------------------------- ...and Korriban is finished... -----------------------------------

I would caution you from making them "max level." IIRC k2 has a max level of 50, which would make the fights very tedious and long if all the opponents are designed to match that high level. But that aside, the real reason I would not recommend this course of action, is that it denies the player a journey, an experience, a way to grow and react to situations. If you start off as a fully leveled player, you will not be able to edit your stats to accommodate a new threat, and the action will become repetitive because it will all be at a certain level of difficulty. For instance, if I, do not put any points in security or computer use, at the start of the game, I will never have a chance to change that. This would force me to restart the game, if there was content I was curious about locked behind or in something, whereas, if I was able to level up that skill, I could return later or load to a previous save to upgrade that skill. Therefore, my proposition is to not have the PC start at max level, but instead place them at level 20 or level 25, allowing some player flexibility as they progress. Just my feedback, seems like a neat idea you have there, good luck! "We will watch your career with great interest."

---------------------------------------- Another new Force Power from 'High-Level Force Powers 2.0 + Update' by @Stoffe. This one clones you!!! As says the description in game: "...the Force user can will apart of their own spirit outside their body and use the Force to manifest it in a physical form resembling their own. This Force spirit clone will accompany and fight alongside the force user..." -------------------------------- After a swift escape the Sith Academy is finished. This is a great tutorial for basic modding, it also explains very clearly and thoroughly how to place NPC's onto the map: For NPC placement tutorial watch from 29:38 ! I also recommend the tutorial by Fair Strides in this thread:

That's why I refuse to accept the book and SWTOR as game canon. In my head canon the Exile is male and had a threeway with Briana and Visas. Revan never got captured. Both of them teamed up against the Yuushan Vong. Or in my other canon both fell to the darkside and killed each other over who got to rebuild the Sith Empire after dealing with the Yuushan Vong. But yeah I love both Revan and Jacen (My Exile). I've had fun playing both characters. I hate how cheaply the Exile died in the book. Bastila's fate is sad I did not know that. It's like I told Ebony Moon in a PM BioWare always had a history of making great characters and them canonizing them in a way that disrespects them. Obsidian/ Avellone respected Revan by making him a godlike figure. In fact Avellone respects Revan so much that he said Revan who is not his creation would beat both the Exile and Kreia who are both his creations. BioWare and especially Karpyshyn disrespected the Exile and made her from unique to mediocre. I know Vrook says in TSL that the Exile aside from making Force bonds was nothing special, but with Kreia's teachings the Exile became powerful, not Revan level but still powerful. Plus aside from making Force bonds the Exile had another special attribute. They could live without the Force as the Exile proved after the Manadalorian wars. I don't think even Revan could live without the Force.

For Kotor One, I guess it would have to be Taris. The planet, in terms of modules, is so large and full of a vast array of NPCs to make it feel alive. All the characters on Taris were unique (even if you literally saw clones of them all over the place) due to their beautifully written story and VO acting. Every level you progress to is different just like how every character describes it as, from the rich Upper City, to the Poor and Crime Ridden Lower City and the frightening Under city. During my first play through, I felt almost exactly like the NPCs in the game feel in their levels: Upper City is a safe area to hang out in the shops and Duel Ring, the Lower City made you fear for your life as seemingly every corner had thugs ready to murder you and the Under city made me literally not want to leave the Village because I thought the Rakghouls were A: OP asf and B: I believed would get the Rakghoul disease. For Kotor Two: I'd have to put my money on Dantooine, whilst I wasn't as Naive back when I first played Kotor 1, I really felt the same atmosphere I felt with Taris but with Dantooine. The VO and writing cements the concept that this is a run-down, seen better days, poor, weak planet which has little to no law keeping the innocent Settlers and farmers safe from greedy Scavengers and blood thirsty Mercenaries, the plot of the planet is short yet still fun and interesting. Other planets like Onderon literally forces you to play both Dxun AND Onderon without any option of leaving before you finish your main quest WITHOUT Atton and once you do finish the quest you need to go back AGAIN to fight in the Battle of Onderon. Nar Shaddaa is slightly better but makes up for it with other minor flaws to ruin it, compared to other renditions of Nar Shaddaa in SW games this Nar Shaddaa is boring asf. When I do try to finish all of the bonus quest of Nar Shaddaa I ALWAYS get Attons bloody "We got this message on the Comlink. Looks like trouble" notification which blocks me from finishing any quests until you finish the planets main plot, here I usually just use the "warp" command to get to wherever I need to go just before I get that notification. Then you have Korriban, which is short and somewhat bland if you don't have M4-78 (Which just makes Korriban a necessary inconvenience just to get to M4-78). Fighting those Hississ' with that bland fighting music and those horrible sound sets, that noise will haunt my dreams.
