I'd like to hear what you folks think and have to say. 

With that in mind, I found their explanation for the true origins of the Rakata quite interesting (the whole book is in online PDF format for free). According to this, a number of species were created by beings called the Bedlam Spirits who in turn were created by a Celestial named Wutzek, who was a rival of the Mortis trinity (the Father, Son, and Daughter from the Clone Wars). One of the spirits he created was named Tilotny and she and her siblings created a number of the known species by twisting the 80 or so species initially created by the Celestials and experimenting on them to create abominations of all sorts, including some new sentient species, to use to fight both each other and the Celestials in order to secure their domination of the galaxy. She created the Rakata by abducting Ongree from their homeworld of Skustell as well as Gungans from Lehon (yes, Lehon a.k.a. Rakata Prime was the actual original homeworld of the Gungans according to this book). She unleashed the Rakata on Lehon and then massacred the Gungans who it turns out were helped by the Kumumgah (the ancient ancestors of the Sand People and Jawas who were technologically advanced) of Tatooine who rescued them (presumably aided by portals and/or Force-powered ships given by the Celestials) and resettled them on Naboo.

The Rakata were fiercely loyal to Tilotny and spread across Lehon making it their home and their descendants came to worship her as the goddess Onrai in their religion. They also were originally three sub-species called the Ikalik (red-skinned, lived in the forest and glades), the Groot (blue-skinned, lived in the tidal coves), and Bukesek (black/gray-skinned, lived in the volcanic and/or sandy areas) but there was much intermarriage as the tribes eventually united into one people again through conquest. At some point the reptilian Kwa or Kwoth species came to Lehon and educated the Rakata in the Force but the Rakata used them and their technological knowledge for evil and eventually united and drove the Kwa to extinction, basically taking over much of their former holdings across the galaxy. They invented Force-powered hyperdrives and conquered much of the galaxy, the rest is history in Legends. So yeah, the Rakata are related to the Gungans and Rakata Prime was the original Gungan homeworld. This was interesting.

It wasnt a bad film but wasnt great. Very forgettable.

Ian really made the film for me though. But there was alot of unexplained bs that they will probably leave to the extended canon to answer which was disappointing .

They must really be scrambling for nerd-cred after the reaction to The Last Jedi and their supposed lack of confidence in the Han Solo movie.

If they were ever to touch Knights of the Old Republic, these are the guys I would want doing it.

I'm cautiously optimistic after TLJ, but after seeing this teaser and hearing some of what we can expect at the Celebration panel, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a bit excited. Not sure on the title, though.

For me, I would prefer a single bladed green saber. Runner up colors would be Yellow, Blue, and Cyan. If I had to pick a more exotic saber design, I would have to choose a dual bladed saberstaff. 

This.  This is a thing.  Apparently the original price for a 12 packs of cans - according to the supermarket anyway - was over 20 bucks. (I'll provide a shot of it tomorrow when I return to that supermarket.)  Apparently there are several different can pictures.  (The Darth Maul cans apparently are all gone and who knows who else they stuck on these things.)  The only cans left "feature" Kylo Ren.

Now the going price is two 12 packs for 5 bucks.  This must be rancid.  So I did what anyone would do in this situation.  I bought two of them!

I was musing about this for most of the day: what to do with this potentially noxious substance.  (Besides - duh - drink it.)  But how to do it?  I settled on the obvious - I must make a reaction video consuming this swill.  But when should I release the video?  Then it came to me.

April 1st, 2020.  I'll record a video drinking it on Monday and then record another video on March 31st, 2020 - drinking it again.

The reason for the delay is so I can see a before and after of me.  I'll be real with you folks - I've gained way too much weight since retiring from the military as of May 1st.  Having a deadline to improve how I look (and feel) will prove helpful to making serious in-roads on efforts to curb my weight.  Also, if this stuff is as rancid as I expect it to be - think of the extra hilarity of knowing I'll have drink this stuff twice.

So . . . thoughts?

Looks interesting. Its supposedly a single player action adventure game set after the events of order 66 and follows a young padawan. Hopefully EA does not royally screw us like they did with SWBF 1 and 2 😡

Now imagine instead, magically their graphical fidelity was always consistent with their heirarchy in the list of Star Wars games-

For instance, KOTOR 2 is the best and graphically is the quality of let's say, The Witcher 3 or Nier Automata.

So is it correct to call the random Dark Jedi you encounter Dark Jedi and not something like Sith Acolyte, or Sith Student / Apprentice? And maybe change the names of Sith Apprentices to Sith lords or something like that. Even in Dark Malaks/ Revans army there should be Marauders/Assassins and Sith lords. Just my thoughts.
