"Ten years ago in 1997, we first saw the planet of Coruscant in the Special Edition of Return of the Jedi. It was only a brief appearance. In 1999, The Phantom Menace came out and we really got a good look at Coruscant and especially the Jedi Temple and the Senate Chambers. It was a city planet and the capital planet of the Republic in Star Wars. Then in the sequel of 2003s game of the year, Knights of the Old Republic II: The Sith Lords, we saw a brief appearance of Coruscant when your PC, the Jedi Exile, watches a video of his/her trial and exile from the Jedi Order that happened ten years earlier. We only got to see the Jedi Council chambers and a brief look outside the windows. Over the last two plus years since TSL came out, people wished that the KOTOR had already included Coruscant in one of their releases, or will include it if there is to be a KOTOR III.

DeathDisco makes his FileFront debut bringing us that wish and he does it for TSL. The author is a veteran KOTOR modder at Holowan Labs who has made his way to putting up his first and his newest KOTOR mod here at FileFront. Hopefully hell send in his older mods to us in the future for some new KOTOR gamers to enjoy!

This mod will definitely be a welcome addition because of the hard work and detail put into it. Since your character is a Jedi, the author has you go to the Jedi Temple on Coruscant. There you can receive extra Jedi training, Force Forms, Lightsaber Forms, and practice your blaster bolt deflection skills. There are also new items for you to collect only on Coruscant. Lots of features and surprises the author wants you to figure out by playing the mod.

This mod uses the TSL Patcher for easy installation and possible .2da file merging depending on what mods you have in your personal override folder. You should notice the new planet on the galaxy map on the Ebon Hawk. There is a screenshot showing a visual of that if you need it. Enjoy the mod.

(Original KotORFiles mod review)

This mod adds a new planet to the galaxy map. The Jedi Temple on Coruscant.

Features

his mods create three new areas re-using exiting modules.

1.The Jedi Temple Landing pad.
2.The Jedi Temple itself.
3.The Jedi Council chambers.

You can learn a handful of Jedi power. (Depends on skill/attribute checks)
Learn a bonus Lightsaber form. (Prestige class required)
Learn a bonus Force form. (Prestige class required, excluding Jedi Master/Sith Lord)
Practice your blaster bolt deflection skills.

Acquire high level Jedi related items/upgrades.
Dark Side items also available.

I've added a couple of items I created for previous mods.
I created some new Jedi/Sith items for this mod.
I re-created some K1 items (.uti's only) not available for TSL for this mod.

Some surprises. ;)

Uninstallation

Extract the contents of tsljeditemple.rar.
Run the installer and select your game directory. IE: e:\Program Files\Lucasarts\SWKotOR2
The installer will create backups of files it modified. Save these for un-installation.

Notes

This mod is not currently compatible with any other mods that edit the galaxy map.
This mod adds a lighsaber hilt reskin using model w_lghtsbr_151, which
is compatible with USM and The Masters of the Force Hilt pack.
All source files included in the NSS folder.

Hi there deathdisco:

In the past years a Coruscant Jedi Temple Mod was uploaded on filefront.com and it was incompatible with the M4-78 Enhancement mod just in the Ebon Hawk's Galaxy Map.   Is this mod Coruscant Jedi Temple uploaded here in Deadlystream is updated enough so that the incompatibility problem on the Galaxy Map is already resolved?  If that is, deathdisco then you have done an amazing work here.

A very good job deathdisco!!

I love the mods which include new areas and story, and the detail of the Dark Side place is great!!

A technical issue, I'm not sure if this is due to the mod or my old computer because I haven't seen anywhere else: When I'm close to maintenance robots and the "walls" covering the collapses of the original Enclave scenario, depending the angle of sight, I see the walls flat. Without moving, changing the camera angle, I can see the walls texturized change to flat and vice versa, usually when the walls are close to the lateral of the screen. Anyway, it doesn't affect the gameplay.

A possible add...

Always, at both scenarios (Enclave and Coruscant) I'm tempted to "touch" the statue in the middle of the room, there, in the middle of the shadows...

Would be possible add a hidden place in the statue? for to find something very, very valuable? A very powerfull crystal or a powerfull and upgradeable Liightsaber? some datapad explaining a pain history?

It's an idea...

Thanks for this great work

Just finished going through the Jedi Temple and had some thoughts. While I thoroughly enjoyed what this mod provides, I think it has the potential to be soo much better. For starters as others have said the large number of powerful items does ruin the game balance. While it is awesome to have access to gear from so many famous Jedi and Sith, it kinda of ruins that feeling of finding a unique relic when there's so many. My suggestion would be to pick just 1 or 2  famous Jedi and 1 or 2 famous Sith and really focus on making their items stand out and also including a datapad or something which explains how these items came to be in the temple. Similarly the ability to simply click and learn abilities and force powers feels a bit lazy. Even by introducing several rounds of combat with increasing difficulty or something similar relating to the power, that you must do before you learn it, would make this level so much more engaging and realistic. Finally I would suggest removing the republic soldiers and have the temple under the control of the Sith. Just seems like it would make more sense that they would have already been there and taken it over in the hope that any remaining Jedi would eventually return and could be killed. Also having some tougher enemies so you have to work for those rewards. However  I certainly couldn't hope to make anything this good myself and my only reason for comment is that I can see how easily it could become even better. All in all though I think this is a really cool mod and I am grateful that experienced modders like yourself allow noobies like me to enjoy so much extra content.

As much as I would've liked to enjoy this mod more, I felt it was rushed. For example:

1) The Skybox is of poor quality

2) The voices didn't work for me (i.e. Kreia, Sith Lord, Republic Trooper, etc.)

3) Textures seem of rather low quality and lack in variety

4) Far too many empty rooms -- Would've been better if some were just blocked off/locked

5) Would've like to see more of a resemblance to Coruscant rather than Nar Shaddaa and Dantooine (Council Chambers are alright)

Overall a lovely mod but it could've been cleaned up a bit more for a better Coruscant experience.

2 Questions:

1. Stated updated 7/30/16 - is this an update or a re-submit?

2. Do the TSLRCM+M4-78EP Compatibility Patches still need to be installed w/ this?

 - Love this mod. Only thing I would suggest to make it more balanced would be to have PC Level Limit - have to be level 20+ or something so that you don't get all of this ridiculously awesome gear right after Telos... However, not even sure if Shem is still even wanting to mod this one

If you want to have more balance with the kotor 2 TSL, I'd suggest a difficulty enhancer mod such as Ultimate Balancing Mod by HaVoKeR

And/Or K1 and TSL Difficultiy Option 1.0 by Darth Shan, which says it isn't compatbile with TSLRCM but worked when I used it.

Hope this helps bring balance to the force ^^

Is this mod compatible with the Steam version of the game?

Yes, this is.  However, you will have to actually install it and not just click on the mod like you do with Steam's workshop. But keep in mind, "This mod is not currently compatible with any other mods that edit the galaxy map.

This mod adds a lighsaber hilt reskin using model w_lghtsbr_151, which

is compatible with USM and The Masters of the Force Hilt pack."

Yeah on pc with only restored content mod installed, and yes im using a controller. I sometimes see the icon to target it but cant actually target it. Its very odd cause ive since watched a video of a weapon master doing it just fine.
