NPC Overhaul Mod

Under NO circumstances is this, or any of my other,

mod(s) to be posted on ANY site other than by myself.

1. Info

===========

This mod attempts to fix the ‘clone effect’ which TSL is notorious for, across multiple locations.

It differentiates the NPCs in an attempt to eliminate several of them looking identical in one location, due to the way it was set up by Obsidian.

It also provides a different clothing for each starting Jedi class, rather than conform to a single texture across all of them.

Several shaders across multiple characters are also restored, such as the Mandalorians, Hutts, droids, etc.

2. Installation:

=========

Run the patcher for each listed location and let it do its magic. I apologize for the need to run it several times, but it’s the only viable way.

A manual install would work better for this mod. I don't understand the appeal of TSLpatcher. Is it really just for braindead people who have 0 modding experience?

In general, it's all about compatibility. If it is set up correctly, that is.

This mod is working very well! However, there are a few things I didn't like:

-Ratrin Vhek's new appearance. I would recommend swapping the new head you gave him with his original one.

-The civillains in Iziz still looks like clones of each other, especially the ones that attack you after you meet Master Kavar in the Cantina.

-Master Zez-kai Ell's green robe. (Granted, I do not have your Movie-Style Jedi Master Robes mod installed. I use Shem's Prequel Style Robes mod instead.

-Maybe give Kreia a lightsaber at the beginning of the game? Just an idea.

-The Sith Assassin's should wear masks, including the identical female ones that attack on the Harbinger.

-Nikko's new head. He should keep his default head since it is unique to him.

-Gegorran's new head. It doesn't suit the voice and I preferred his original one since no one else on Onderon has it.

So now I spent about half an hour modding this into the game just to find out it sadly broke the balance with those loot drops...  I'm leaving citadel station with 2 armors that are each worth 15k, one giving 11 def and +4 dex bonus the other just gives you 13 armor, both giving energy immunity stats. oh and dont forget the sith tremor sword, the gammorean war axe, a zabrak carbine and a zabrak heavy blaster. And it's not random either, I also tried it with different chracters most of the loots are fixed! I loved the fact that all the loot drops in tsl are random, you could never know what to expect and every cylinder and corpse was a surprise. So it's a shame since this is one of my favorite mods and I really wouldn't wanna ever play without the npc variety anymore it breathes new life into this old gem of a game... Just sad I have to choose between appearence and balance, I just wish you came back and told me how to get rid of the increased loot drops.

nonetheless thanks for this mod...
