About This File

In KotOR 2, you would originally stumble upon the body of a Jedi named Nebelish while investigating the tomb of an ancient Sith Lord on Korriban. However, this "Nebelish" actually looked a lot like Dustil Onasi. Turns out, Obsidian originally planned to have Dustil in the tomb but they ended up cutting the content. Now when TSLRCM came along they never restored this because Jason Mardsen, Dustil's voice actor, never recorded any lines for the part. Now I thought it a shame that Dustil couldn't have been restored, so I set about restoring him. And, thanks to some voice overs done by Zhaboka, I have finished my task.

So essentially, this mod restores Dustil to KotOR II.

Awesome that people are still creating content for the best game ever. I'll start my kotor2 playthrough again in few days once i've finished kotor and will definitely install this mod too.

Just played through this with RCM 1.8.2 and M4-78EP, and it worked perfectly, and was a great addition!!  Thanks for all the hard work!!

Played through this a few minutes ago, and it's really super good, to the point of feeling like part of the game, the voice acting was surprisingly really well done, and the VA sounds enough like Dustil did in the first game for me to not question it very much.
Now, I'm not sure if this can really be called a bug, but apparently if the main character doesn't have a last name, it repeats the first one. I've never come across this before, so I can't really tell if it's a problem with the mod itself or just a little quirk that I've never seen before.

As an aside, this mod is totally 100% compatible with Floating Lightsabers 2.0.

BUG*                       Does anyone know why the chat/voiceover would be fast forwarded? I know this is a common kotor 2 problem, but other dialogues in the cave (outside of the added mods) work perfectly. I've loaded and reloaded but the problem remains. At least the mod works enough to play, but it's sad i can't have the voice acting or even read the chat, except for the mission log....  Anyone else run into this???

SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT READ IF YOU HAVE NOT PLAYED THOUGH THIS CONTENT!!!

You have been warned.

Is there a way to reason with Dustil? The only two endings I can see is killing him or Dustil force pushing you out of the room. is there another ending?

I'm so confused. What are added content restoration and pure restoration? Seriously. English people I don't speak techno bullshit.

Ratboy181, when you download the mod, you will have the option of only the pure restoration or the more developed modded restoration.

Anyone know if this is compatible with other korriban mods?

Yes, this is compatible with several other korriban mods. You'd have to be more specific which mods you have in mind, but generally speaking this mod doesn't clash with most Korriban mods.

So I've done playthroughs with this Mod before and have always found it to be a great addition to my Overide folder, but I keep running into this one bug this time and I'm not sure how to fix it.

I have fought Dustil and he's thrown me out of the room, and I've gone on to fight Kreia and my Party in the room before Revan, but after I finishing fighting either my part or Kreia or both, the game breaks. I try to open the tomb door, which works the first time, but then there's another locked door right behind it and I can't get it to open. The first door opens, but immediately behind it is another locked door.

I don't have any other mods that effect Korriban or the module that the tomb is in. Has anyone else encountered this bug, and if so how did you fix it?

the file responsible for this door is dr_kevil_dor.utd, i just made it open and put this file in override folder, using KOTOR Tool, thow i have another problem now. after i went through this door i had a scene, where Dustil follows, then i fight my evil clone and Revan loot the room and all i have left to do is leave the tomb and the quest doesn't proceed. i've done sith academy before going in that tomb. Where should i have proceeded with that quest? in the academy, in the room with Revan or somwhere later in the game?

well, after reinstalling the whole game and all mods and installing Dustil Restoration last, everything works fine, no Dustil duplicates, closed doors, all cutscens play normaly.

Mines didn't work. When I got through the tomb and showed the recording of Dustil, it fast-foward. Then, when I spoke to Dustil, it fast-foward through the whole conversations.

Still having issues with the Steam Version. It would be nice if this could be patched to work with the most current version of TSL, or if it could make it's way to the workshop and have it's own patch there.

One of my favorite mods, it's sad that it won't work properly now.

The problem is custom wav audio files. The Steam version doesn't support them, unlike the CD and GOG versions.  The best way to fix this would be to delete all the wav audio files in the tslpatchdata folder before installation, you won't actually hear the audio but it won't skip meaning you can read the subtitles and actually play the mod to an extent.

Yes, the steam version will not work with the audio files as-is. Yes, I have managed to be quite untimely in uploading a fix for that. I intend to upload a fixed version tonight.

Well, late to the party, but: the version including an MP3 patch has been uploaded.

When I saw that your mod had been updated among many in August, I thought you might have fixed some things, but I was wrong. Thankfully, you have fixed the audio skipping problem.
