Misc Information:

Spoiler

In TSL Loot and Immersion Upgrade, I have revised all the appearance items in the game, and added quite a few new armors and robes.

  • If you are playing for the first time, please start a New Game to fully play the features of this mod.

Armor designs and culture is largely intact, item descriptions and icons have been filled out, and I tried to hide new items all over the game.

  • You will receive an Exile item on the Harbinger, and you will also encounter new models and skins for old items throughout the game.
  • Additional items have been created and placed at static loot drop points in the game.

Opo Chano on Telos sells a robust variety of droid parts and all HK parts.

On Onderon, I have fully replaced Gegorrann with a new faction merchant who will go about business as usual selling you Military surplus and rarities, per his agreement with the Onderon Military.

  • Beware playing Dark side on Onderon when using this mod.
  • There are no glitches per say, but I believe they attack the merchant, vice versa at the end.
  • Not to spoil anything, but those guys are riot police.

TSLRCM works functions but I do not know if you can reach the HK factory. But, you can complete the game.

Likewise I heard that the new merchant on Onderon makes an outcome not passable for Dark Side players, but I don't believe this is the case with version 4.4.4.

I explain how to bypass these potential glitches further down the page in the Troubleshooting section.

  • If you are using Movie Mandalorians, please install it after installing Loot and Immerison Upgrade.
  • This mod largely has every mod I've worked with in it. There are variations to this mod's content in separate, older releases that you can find on my profile.
  • The Cortosis armor mod, New Onderon Merchant mod, armored robes mod, and all other mods I've made are currently inside the Loot and Immersion Upgrade in most up-to-date form.
  • I did not include Beautified Lightsaber Blades for TSL in this mod.

I fixed as many glitches and anomolies as I could find, including everything with missing items, KSE, the installer, items, etc.

10/25

  • I redid the Onderon Merchant's inventory to primarily sell armors. He sells all the best armors of the game, I went into great detail here.
  • This 11/3 update only acts on the Onderon Merchant's inventory. You will need him to respawn, aka first visit to get the new inventory.
  • I have retroactively added a new Exile item, different loot in the Korriban tomb, and different loot with new armors in Vogga's chamber.

The I (Jedi robe), N (master robe) , J (star forge robe) , and K (armored flight suit) class armors are fully replaced with this mod.

Troubleshooting:

Spoiler

  • White Box Icon Items :

This version will patch over these Do not interact with these items.

Bypassing them is the best way to continue your game. v.4.4.4 will patch these. Only one is know ("Malak's Robe")

  • No DS on Onderon :

If this happens, restart Onderon after removing "npc_gegorran.utc" from Override (After installing the mod, or Before by removing the file from tslpatchdata)

  • No HK Factory with TSLRCM:

Before meeting with Kavar, remove "end_mand.dlg" from Override (After installing the mod, or Before by removing the file from tslpatchdata instead).

  • Spelling:

Please, have mercy on me! :)

  • Star Forge Robe Items Crashing:

This is because not all NPCs including party members are able to wear this type of item in default TSL. I believe Atton, Handmaiden, Exile, and Disciple can wear.

I am noticing that you are updating the mod several times a week right now, what are you changing and/or adding?

Hello 90sk, I have recently purchased the steam version of KotOR 2 after wanting to play it again. Back when I played it I used 90SK super content mod and TSLRCM. I remember a bug where the thugs would guard the exit in the Jedi Enclave on Dantooine and when you attacked them it would crash. Well the same thing is happening now, so I was looking for a fix, and as I thought it was the 90SK content mod. I didn't want to remove so I went to find the updated version that hussat (tslrcm maker) was talking about on a steam help thread. I somehow managed to find this mod which I'm guessing is just an update to the 90SK super content mod. I liked the light armor that didn't restrict force powers the most, but after using the mod it seems that the model has been completely changed from the super content one 00260467.jpg

So I was wondering, what are the files associated with those light armors, so I can replace the new ones with the old ones... or would that screw up the whole mod? I personally don't like the new ones. But good effort on updating the mod and making it work with TSLRCM 1.8.4, that's why I want to use this updated mod.

It's not really practical to remove that feature as it is extensively replaced but the best course of action I can offer is to remove the M class armor mdl/tga files from tslpatchdata in the Loot/Immersion Upgrade directory. You can see the letter variation of the different classes of armors with the variable letter in the filenames, and that system of reference is good for most of KotOR's default filename structures.

I wouldn't worry about replacing the UTI files, just the tga and mdl/mdx files.

Thanks for replying, after playing with it for a while I have come to like the new armors. Good work. You just updated the mod according to deadlystream, have you actually updated the mod files? Or just the description? Is it worth reinstalling the mod each time you update it? ;)

Thank you for the feedback :)

Yes to your first question, but these last two updates aren't super important, so if you installed it recently it won't be a big deal to keep it the way it is. The 2.0.5 update will be the one to look for, and this last update has bumped it up to 2.0.4.5. Changes include more items at the onderon merchant (not a retroactive change), and I included the 2da files in case of errors with installation.

When do you think version 2.0.5 will be ready, and will it be the final version of the mod.

Also, if KOTOR 3 ever happens, do you see yourself making a similar mod for it, or not?

I am more or less mum on what is happening with the remaining updates, but I will say that this mod will be part of another mod and that I am migrating the remaining updates to that project.

As far as KotOR3 is concerned, as you can see, I am arranging appearances in TSL to look like they were when advertised in 2004. If there is a stylistic difference between the prerelease footage and the actual game for KotOR3, I will do a similar mod.

This looks to be a pretty ambitious mod and a good one at that. I'm just a slight bit indecisive about using this instead of the individual mods that I would really like to have, just because I like those very much. However, this mod includes so many of them and even more still, I feel I would be cheating myself if I didn't use yours. ;D. Add to that, that this mod offers so much content, in a nice, organized single install, minimizing the possibility of conflicts and the resulting frustration and headaches, then the choice becomes clear, for me at least.

The screen shots look great. This is a fantastic piece of work and I appreciate all you've done to put it together. It seems all I HAVE to do is install the few  head model replacements that I want along with RSLCRM, M4-78 and a few others mentioned here and I'm set, as well as having tidy install. Bonus points, lol.

So thanks for everything. Hah, this is going to be a whole different game than last time I played and I'm really looking forward to it :).

                  Cheers

I am encountering an error where the installer can't find the changes.ini file despite that file being in the same folder. Have you any idea what causes this?

Noooooo...... the mando armor has changed! It is not full mando armor anymore! Great, now I have to get rid of the files. Or get another version of kotor 2 (will that work?(I'm saying because there in different folders so will it work?)) Damn it! I hate the mando armor with this mod!!! Unless there is another armor called yellow mando armor or something, I ain't happy!......But I like the admired robes and the K1 lookin' robes (like the nagai robe). Keep up the good work!!

This mod causes crashes with g0t0's ship and traveling to Nar Shadda. I have tracked it down to not having a light.uti file that is needed. Could you please fix this?

Hey guys, thanks for all the feedback :)

light.uti is a reference in changes.ini only, there is no item or feature connected with it nor connecting it with Goto's Yacht in the loor&immersion upgrade that I know of. The G0-T0 droids have their texture and environment maps modified in this mod, though.

the G0-T0 texture is P_Gt.tga.

I don't know anything about the problem with light.uti.

The textures for the modified mandalorian armor are PFBH04.tga and PMBH04.tga, the icon is ia_class9_004.tga

The heavy armors replacing the Jal Shey armors have a cloak on the male version.

The issue with changes.ini being missing: I am not having that problem, it may be an error with the patcher itself. I have it here working on my end, so that part idk but please keep me informed on any issues that appear using this mod! Thanks again.

Hello 90SK. Your work is much appreciated by me. I think that the problem lies in put shining texture on G0-T0. If you don't put it the cutscene works normally in the yacht.

I ask you but I think I already know the answer. Is it possible to have Kain's Overhaul mod and yours together in the same playthrough? The problem on my part is when you get to the scene before the telos czerka mercenary base you have an encounter with a twilek and his two droids and then the game crashes.

Anyway, thanks for your work on both KOTOR's.

OBS: In your KOTOR 1 Ceremonial robes there is a similar texture used by two different robes. If I'm not mistake is the one that you find in Nemo corpse on Dantooine.
