About This File

Experience famous restored content mod on your mobile device.

Install instructions:

Both iOS and Android place all files in a folder called ‘mods_english’ (or ‘mods_italian’, etc.) within a folder called ‘dlc’. So /dlc/mods_english/[all files]/.

1. Unzip mtslrcm.zip
2. dlc folder contains five subfolders, for each language version; feel free to delete ones you don't use.
3. Paste it in the install location:

iOS:
On iOS, they are placed in iTunes > Apps > Documents, in the same spot that the ‘saves’ folder goes.

ANDROID:
On Android the files should be placed in /Home/Android/data/com.aspyr.swkotor2/files/

As long as you’ve closed the game from the app switcher before launching with the mod, everything should work as normal."

So I downloaded the files, unared it, and added my own texture files and mods to the override folder (and everything is in lowercase letters), but none of the files are working. I load the game and it doesn't seem to have any affect. It's the same vanilla game. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

EDIT: I installed all the files from the folder and the folder itself, nothing has worked thus far.

Also, I've noticed that some of the sound files are .wav instead of .mp3, such as the HK50 file in the streamvoice > 232 > hk50 folder

Installed fine on iOS for me. However it thinks I’m playing on a pc and all of the tutorials think I have a keyboard, “press space bar, control, etc.”. Mod related or actual game bug?

Did you install the ‘mod_english’ folder or the folders and files inside?

Hello there! It seems I have run into a crash right after Atton says: "I have a bad feeling about this" just before the Harbinger cutscene loads. I don't have any other mods so there shouldn't be anything else causing this.

The ‘mod_English’ folder. Some others are having the same problem.

Ok, I thought I was the only one with this issue. I don't know if it's a missing Module or not.

I crashed at the same Atton 'Bad Feeling' line. In my searching, came across someone apparently fixing it by removing the 'Widescreen fix' but unless that is included in the TSLRCM, I havent downloaded it specifically. Another said to remove it, pass the scene, save, and add it back. Which, I am loathed to do(Got a whole lot of mods running. fine until this I might add.)

So hope this helps

Try removing permov08.bik and permov09.bik from the Movies folder. It sounds like there might be an issue with the Bink videos that TSLRCM adds.

This will skip the Harbinger arrival videos, but it might let you progress.

It could be that we're installing it wrong. Perhaps a video tutorial would help.

I am having the exact same issue trying to get to Telos Polar region.

Did you get this issue resolved? I'm in the exact same boat as you. Can't get past entering the shuttle on telos before the scene crashing.

Alright, so I found the forum where you have to paste the DLC folder ITSELF into the kotor 2 docs on iTunes and that did the trick! Thanks to whoever suggested that.

How do we know if we installed it correctly on IOS? Can we get a tutorial video?

The trick is to install the folder "dlc" to iTunes. I made the mistake of installing "mod_english" and "override" instead. That won't work. Install the folder "dlc" with the english folder inside and make sure you add any and all other mods you want into the override folder before you do so.

When I leave Telos to find Baodur,  after the cinematic, i only get a black screen, and if i load it from the save, only the Remote will spawn (and kreia + atton will be in my party). No Baodur, so the cutscene with him and able to choose him in the party is gone.  Any workaround please?

Looks like some guys with android 11 can have problems with installation.

It's because Android 11 doesn't let you access anything in the Android/data folder. I was able to use an app called Total Commander to copy the files successfully. When I first accessed the data folder I was asked for permission.

Should the version number update on iOS ? I've installed the latest version today, which is supposed to be 1.8.6 but the splash screen still says version 1.8.5.......

Hey, doe anyone know if you can use the "dlc" folder method to mod the original KOTOR on iOS as well, or is it only for KOTOR 2?

Trying to install the mod on Android 8.1, and I've run into a problem. The file path specified in the instructions does not exist. All I can find are my save files and the .ini file. As far as I can tell, all the game data is stored in .obb files, and unlike Kotor1, they don't appear to be relabeled .zip files this time.

Any help?

I have downloaded all the files needed. I don’t know how to install/where to install the dlc folder so the contents come to the game. Does someone mind sending me instructions for that.  Drewthejedi22@gmail.com
