Additional Power Crystals for TSL 1.3

About This File

This modification adds extra power crystals to KotOR 2 with new icons and descriptions that follow the style of the KotOR games. Some crystals are taken from the EU and others are my own creation, so if you know your star wars lore well you will probably recognize some names while others will be novelty to you.

As of version 1.3 there are +15 crystals plus some vanilla crystal description fixes: Color Bronze; Hurrikaine Crystal; Barab Ore Ingot.

The Luxum crystal also made a return from K1, it's stats have been modified so it's no longer a lesser version of Firkrann.

I did not implement the crystals at any point in the game and as such they're only obtainable through the console. Check the readme for all the codes. Elwood288 took the liberty of placing them if you're interested https://deadlystream.com/files/file/1721-additional-power-crystals-for-tsl-distributed/

Released

  • Revamped stats and descriptions.

I've been trying but I'm a little bit clueless as to how to place them 'naturally' in the game as you progress but i think i will just leave it like this, less hassle not to mention less compatibility issues. When i have more free time from uni i'll throw in a couple more crystals.

I was able to install this on m IPad and was also successful in using KSE to add the additional crystals into my inventory.  I was not able to use a workbench to use the new crystals to upgrade any light sabers though.  Oddly enough, I was able to sell the crystals and buy them back from different shop keeps.  I was also able to breakdown the crystals for components.  Just no luck using them in a light saber.  Any help in this matter would be much appreciated.

How were you able to install the mod on an iPad exactly? I imagine you didn't run the tslpatcher and moved the files to override?

I just added the files to my override folder manually.  On iPad I do not have access to console commands so I instead moved the save file over to my computer and installed the mod on my PC version of KOTOR 2.  From my PC I was able to add the new crystals into my inventory with console commands.  I then saved the file again and moved the final save over to my iPad.  This is when I ran into trouble.  I could see the crystals in my inventory, but was unable to use the workbench to place them into my light saber.  I could sell the crystals in different shops and even buy them back, just no using them in light sabers.

Mhm there's the problem. Your upgrade.2da didn't accomodate the new entries because the patcher takes care of that.

Use this: upgrade.2da

Keep in mind using this file will make my mod incompatible with whatever else uses upgrade.2da
