About This File

A Mod for Star Wars Knights of The Old Republic II The Sith Lords
Author: N-DReW25
Release Date: 19.03.2017
Release Date 1.1: 7.09.2017

Installation:
Double Click the TSLPatcher.exe and let it do its magic

Uninstallation:
Remove or Delete all the files with the "e_imp1_01.uti" all the way to "e_imp4_10.uti" (There are at least 30 of those so they aren't listed here)

When the TSLPatcher installs the mod correctly it generates a backups folder within the Implant Feat Restoration folder that contains the TSLPatcher. Open the backups folder and copy the
"baseitems.2da" and "feat.2da" to the override folder overriding the Implant Feat Restoration files

Description:
Kotor 2 is known for a ton of cut content. The TSLRCM restores most of that content but there were some they left behind due to it being not restorable or not necessary. However if you have sharp eyes you might notice the Implant Feat
is unavailable. This is likely intentional by Obsidian as the Implants in game require a certain level of constitution in order to use them. This is all well and good until you realize you will have to abandon other stats completely for constitution in
order to get good implants. This mod changes it so that you now require a certain implant feat to wear certain implants. There are three tiers of implants so 3 to 5 level ups should be enough to get max implants whereas before you'd need at least 6 to 11 to
get max implants

Currently, only Hanhar and Mira have the feats. If you want your main character to have the feats you must give it to them on the level up screen (Since you cannot play as a scout you cannot get implants for free)

Also, ALL implants will require this new feat instead of the constitution. This means there is a low chance of an NPC having no implant since it doesn't have the new feat and cannot use it's implant. This is mostly a good thing as
it will make the enemy slightly easier

Known Bugs:
this mod shouldn't have bugs but if there is Just PM me on Deadlystream.

Incompatibilities:
The TSLPatcher will make it compatible with nearly any mod...but if you do find an incompatible mod please alert me so I can put it in the readme
Incompatible with Sireyn's Kotor 2 Implant Rebalance

Permissions:
Do NOT claim credit for this mod and do not use it in your own mods without my permission

Thanks:
Bioware for such an amazing game, Stoffee for TSLPatcher, Fred Tetra for Kotor Tool, Fair Strides for helping me get the Feat to appear on the character creation screen and everyone who downloads the mod.

Did I do something wrong? I selected Implant 1 in my Character Generation but whenever I level up, I can't find it in the feats. I installed the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937\override If this was the wrong installation route, where to I install the files?

I do not use the Steam Workshop myself but I'd assume you'd need to set the installation route to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\208580\485537937" to get it to work.

Okay, I just did it that way. I restarted the game, just to be sure. I used some cheats to level up and... nothing. Still doesn't show up in the level up screens. I apologize if I'm wasting your time with this if I really am doing something wrong here.

You're not wasting my time but I'm sure the problem is the workshop itself. I tested this mod using the "Normal" installation.

Sentinels do not seem to start with the implant feat? Or do they get it as they level?

That might be a bug that wasn't properly fixed. I will get around to it sometime.

doesn't seem to be working with my game, the feat options are just not there :( (Steam version with TSLRCM)

update: welp, i found out what the problem was. i installed TSLRCM via the workshop and I didn't know there's a different folder structure for that stuff, and I installed this mod to the steamapp directory. so you just have to be constistent with your mod installation which in retrospect makes a lot of sense. guess i could have used some more intelligence points when they created my character ;[]

that said, the 1.1 changelog mentions Sentinels get the feat for free and droids cannot get them; neither seems to be the case with me. reinstalled all mods without the workshop just in case, same. not that big of a problem, but something still doesn't work as it should.

That's the bug that needs to be fixed. 1.1 made it so all classes can chose implants.

I have a bug where the Implants now require you to have BOTH the Implant Feat and the minimum Constitution.

The Feat requirement is caused by the 2da file while the constitution is caused by the uti item file. My mod removes all the constitution requirements from the uti files. Do you have  Sireyn's Kotor 2 Implant Rebalance mod or another implant mod, if you do then it is that mod which is restoring the constitution requirement meaning you need constitution and feat to use implants.

I have TSLRCM 1.8.5 installed, but no other Implant-specific mods installed. Anyway, I haven't played KOTOR II in awhile, but I remember this glitch from my last playthough.

Can you check your override for the uti items files? If you have no conflicts *maybe* the item files weren't copied over for some reason.

The idea of to save precious Attributes Points destined to increase the Constitution for wear powerful implants is just great.

Hmmm, will this work with the KSE? Because I am not seeing it and I've got increased skill attributes, my starter stats are all at 18, and so on (I know lol I'm a bit of a cheater lol) or do I need to go inside and fix it somehow so it will recognize it?

I do believe because the implant feats are cut they don't appear in KSE, I think there is a little check box you can pick which enables all the cut feats but you'll need to dig through all those feats to find them.

This mod completely removes the stat requirement meaning you could have constitution 8 and be able to use implants.

How do I make it @N-DReW25, so it will show up in KSE? Because, I cannot find them even after having a saved game. Tends to get mega/super annoying like majorly lol I'm like "score, implants are back, a girl soooo needs her implants" (get your mind out of the gutter you pervy Atton males! :P ) and then I see no implants, one, two, three! lol

Wait, is this not compatible with TSLRCM? I'm just a little confused, sorry.

No, it is compatible. I'll fix that now. I have no idea why it says its incompatible.

Look at this image down below, check the little check box and it'll appear with every single other unused feat in the game files.

Mod works great. Just one thing, are Sentinels supposed to get the first feat upon character creation or another level? For some reason it isn't happening for me. They can select Implants I, but don't get it when I create the character.
