Thanks to an amazing group of people and their fixes, we no longer have to. I've always been a big fan of KotOR and it was great to play it on a resolution that perfectly fits my monitor. </p> <p> However, I found that it wasn't easy to getting it all to work. This wasn't due to a lack of guidance by the owners of the files and programs, but due to the bulk of information. <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9SKMzwKE34E&t" rel="external nofollow">Xuul </a>made a great tutorial on YouTube that covers the basics, but if you want to go deeper, you'll need to figure it out by yourself. If you're new to modding KotOR (or games in general), it could be a daunting task to get everything the way you want. I know I felt that way. </p> <p> That's why I created this step-by-step guide for widescreen in Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. It's to help new people getting this stuff to work a lot faster. It also serves as a reminder to anyone that forgot how to do this stuff. The attachment contains a file with all the steps you'll need. I can't promise that it'll work for everyone, but I think it can be of great help to some people.
