Thank you for downloading my Larger Fonts mod for KOTOR 1!

Please read this ReadMe very carefully to understand what this mod contains, does, and how to install it properly for your own comfort.
(I don't like ReadMe's either, but I promise it's important!)

--WHAT DO THESE FOLDERS MEAN?--
There are 13 folders included inside "LargerTextFontsK1", but they are all essentially one of three groups of files that KOTOR uses for textual information.
Dialogue is used for dialogue, Menu is used for the menus, and Names are used for names (when you select an NPC); it is very straight forward.
You must choose the size font that you desire.

--WHICH FOLDERS SHOULD I CHOOSE?--
The folders are sorted by both category and size of the text. The folder suffix indicates what size the text is; no suffix is the smallest and "VeryBig" is the largest.
It is up to you to decide which size you prefer. I recommend "very big" for ALL text categories to anyone playing above 1440p.

--HOW DO I INSTALL THIS MOD?--
Once you have decided on the size font you desire, extract the files from the proper folders to your "Override" folder in your SWKOTOR game directory.

A proper installation of this mod would be to extract ALL of the files from one (1) folder from EACH of the three (3) categories mentioned above
to the "Override" folder of your SWKOTOR game directory. Three (3) folders total, of your choosing, extracted to "Override".
These are also interchangeable, for example you can have "big" descriptions AND "very big" dialogue. However, you can't have two files of different sizes in the same category.
This is the extent of the customizability of this mod.

--COMPATABILITY--
As long as the files placed in "Override" are not replaced, there shouldn't be a problem.
As such, I see no reason for any compatability issues with any other mod, but feel free to let me know if something seems wrong.

--KNOWN ISSUES--
You will not be able to see small numbers, such as the count of grenades for example. I cannot solve this problem, because this is a result of how the game handles HUD elements.
To put it simply, if a character is too big to fit inside a box then the game won't let it appear. This should be considered a trade-off for being able to read text as normal.
If someone wishes to fix this, they would have to fully decrypt the entire game and have access to its source code to replace and fix it.
I would LOVE to see this happen, but it just hasn't been done yet.

If you have encountered a problem or discovery, I am always willing to talk!
