TSL is strange. The loading screens imply that the citizens were originally going to be low poly models, but that was changed last minute into better quality models. That's good and all, but then why is the Sith Marauder a low-poly citizen of all things?

    I don't follow. You could count the number of loading screens that feature NPCs on one hand, most are just shots of empty levels. And the screens are too low res to be drawing conclusions from. I have no idea what the marauder thing is about.

    One example is the Telos Entertainment module, where I can see what's definitely a low poly model leftover from Kotor 1. I'm assuming that the two models in the distance there also are low poly.

    The Sith Marauders in vanilla TSL are low poly models. The only sighting of them in the game.

    I would say that they were used to make the screenshots early on before the high poly were made. Then the low poly in the Trayus Academy are part of the incomplete tasks when the game was rushed out (as is the case with basically all of Malachor V).

For some reason, TSL refuses to load lightsaber hilt textures. I have no idea why. I'll empty out my override and have only the lightsaber mod, and it'll be a chrome mess.

    Nvm, so apparently adding spaces in between each word of "Disable Vertex Buffer Objects=1" fixed the issue. Wtf?

    Yeah I don't know what the deal is with that. Could be Aspyr changed something in their code so it changes the way it reads swkotor2.ini

Even though I dislike the stories of the newer movies, I absolutely adore the visual aesthetics they're going with these movies now. They're doing Ralph Mcquarrie a great service. The New Order has my favorite designs out of all Star Wars factions.

    Made the regular yellow and Orange Twilek's full Dark Side transition face texture Hope's Shadow and other Twilek texture in the Heads.2DA. I couldn't just let such good texture mods go to waste.

It's my opinion that The Old Republic ruined various different concepts about the Sith. Agree or disagree?

    The idea of Vitiate screwing up the Sith could have worked without the game having all of the problems I discussed previously.
    Why should criticizing their designs be considered nit picking? It's all we've got of them. Whether it be concept art or in game designs, I just don't like their messy designs. All we had of Kotor designs for a while was their in game designs and some concept art.
    Revan's story in TOR is ok. I got some problems with it, but it's alright....

    Funny thing is that Vitiate is the one I have most grudge against. Also, those shoulder pads ARE insane. I keep wondering how they get through doors with them.

    Yes it is. I actually got the installer all finished (with no errors running it!) this last weekend... But the hard drive physically failed literally the next morning. :( :( :( So I need to re-do the installer from scratch, again. *sigh*

I hate overpowered mod items in Kotor. Brotherhood of Shadow looks fun, but I'll probably end up weakening dozens of items in Kotortool if I download it again.

    That doesn't mean I need a set of light armor from Czerka that turns me into a hulk. BOS isn't really that hard. The only time I thought it was tough was during the stealth part with the droid and Shadow's visions, all of which limit you to only a handful of items and whatever you find. Solomon's fight may have been a little tough, but nothing unbeatable.

So in Kotor 1 Restoration, when you convince Hurka to take you past the guards after opening the bridge door, are you supposed to be teleported directly behind the airlock next to the room with the Dark Jedi or is my game glitching on me?

Theoretically speaking, would it be possible for a version of TSLRCM + M4-78 to be ported to the Xbox version of TSL? I'm curious since I've seen alpha maps of M4-78 and the HK factory work on it.

    Well, if an xbox version of TSLRCM and M4-78 was made, then yes. The big problem has always been that the MDL format is different on xbox, so it was impossible to get any models to work. This will be possible in the future though, so theoretically speaking, yes :)

    I just looked up some of the restrictions, which include the inability of using custom mdl/mxl files, textures higher than 256x256 and usually any MOD files. What do you mean it'll be possible in the future?
