Can G0-T0 get new skins?

Recommended Posts

I am asking this since the two times I tried to place a new skin in G0-T0, the txi file crashed the game. Am i the only person that this happens?

Can you please provide links to the two mods and tell us a bit about your system specs? TXI issues are not universal, so Todd's comment isn't a definite thing. It's usually a hardware thing.

I second this.

A few more PC specs, if you would.

How much RAM do you have?

What sort of graphics card is installed?

Have the drivers for that card been updated?

Thank you all. I solved the problem. Its seems that G0-T0 txi's need to have extra info on then, so i just got the original txi and pasted the info in the new one.

What extra info?  Be specific.

Sorry. You just need to open the txi file with a text editor, where is written "envmaptexture CM_Baremetal" add below "umpyshinytexture CM_goto", then below that "bumpmaptexture P_GtB", then below that "clamp 3", and then below that "xbox".

It should be like this:

envmaptexture CM_Baremetal

umpyshinytexture CM_goto

bumpmaptexture P_GtB

clamp 3

xbox

Well, your bumpmap texture has to be properly formatted for one. I know from experience that those can cause crashes.

Plus, you have " umpyshinytexture" whereas, I believe it should be "bumpyshinytexture"

All I know is that before I did this, the game allways crashed, but now it works fine.

Interesting. Well, regardless I'm glad you got it to work.

seph6, why not give this wording in a TXI a shot and tell us what you think?

envmaptexture CM_Baremetal

bumpyshinytexture CM_goto

bumpmaptexture P_GtB

clamp 3

xbox

It also works. Maybe what is truly necessary is the bumpmaptexture P_GtB, or clamp 3, or xbox lines.

Good to know.  Todd Hellid, if you're going test this out - use the wording as listed here for the TXI.
