Early Reactions to Restored Content in TSL

Recommended Posts

Thought I'd share this now-defunct website that I stumbled upon by way of JdNoa's page:

https://web.archive.org/web/20080512025804/http://tubertarian.com/kotor2missingcontent.php

It has select reactions from folks on the Obsidian forums from when it was discovered that there was substantive content left in the game files. Some of the audio links still work too. Interesting commentary from way back when.

EDIT: "The Atton cracks jokes" audio file is something I've never come across before and is pretty funny.

I guess you never completed the game twice and started a third game. Alternatively, you never set the "GameCompleted=" in the INI file to 3.

Because of this, you also missed out on:

- Handmaiden's poetry lines about her weapons

- M4-78 sings! (only if using M4-78 EP)

I always tried to do that, but it never worked for whatever reason...

You're right. I've only completed TSL a couple of times, if that. KotOR, on the other hand, I have completed several times.

Too bad my interest piqued in playing the games a few years ago as opposed to now when the modding has substantially become higher quality.

If it happens on a 3rd playthrough, wouldn't you want to set the value to 2? Or does it happen on all playthroughs subsequent to 2?

That's programmer logic for you.
