[BUG] Jedi Enclave with Gerevick

Recommended Posts

Hello, I have a really disturbing bug that I don't know how to fix. You see, I am in the Jedi enclave and I am about to get out of the ruins and then I see some thugs (mercenaries)

That they are trying to kill me so every time I go near them to kill them the game freezes and then crashes . . . any solution?

Here you go:

1) During the game, when did the problem begin to occur?

2) Did you install the latest version of the mod? (1.8.4 and 1.2 respectively) We only provide assistance for the most current version of those mods.

3) What version of the game do you have? (Steam, GOG, 4CD, KotOR Collection?) What region is the game designed for if it's the 4 CD version?

4) Did you update your game as required by your game's region? (4-CD version ONLY)

5) Did you install this over the previous version(s), or did you perform a fresh installation as required by the TSLRCM's read-me file?

6) What other mods have you installed? Please give an accurate list and provide links to each of these mods - even if they are found on this site. (We don't actually know them all!.)

7) Can you be more specific about the error? At what point did it happen?

8) Have you tried re-downloading/re-installing the mod?

9) Have you tried using a different save game?

10) Have you tried starting a new game?

11) What Operating System do you use? (List Virtual Machines as well if you are using them.)

12) Can you confirm that you see the TSLRCM logo on the the main menu screen?

13) What language is your game set for?

14) Which language of TSLRCM are you using?

1) The Problem begun as soon as I was going to exit the enclave and when I attacked Gerevick. (All the other others were killable but that guy whenever I tried to attack him, the game froze.)

2) Yes, I have installed the latest.

3) I have the GOG version of the game.

4) Yes, I have updated the game.

5) I installed it over the old version.

6) I don’t think that counts because I tried to do that without the mods (I pulled the all out of the Override folder except of the restoration mod and it continued to crash).

8) Yes, I re-installed the mod.

9) No, I have not tried to start a new game and I used a different save.

10) Windows 7 home premium.

11) Yes, confirmed.

12) English.

13) English.

Well, the fact that you installed it over an old version is likely the culprit. And when you pulled out other mods from Override - are you SURE you didn't pull out anything that could affect that module or Gerevick?

Nonetheless, a simple fix for the time being is sort of a trick. As you get back to the entrance, keep the mouse buttons held down to run and mash the quicksave key (F4 by default)

This delays the trigger line's script from activating. Once you've reached past the trigger line, quickload (F5 by default, but you can always load from that quicksave) and you can completely bypass that encounter

That's the only way to bypass this. I'd say that Gerevick doesnt appear due to a change and it crashes. I have made this mistake myself before.

Also, removing all files from the Override won't uninstall all mods. There might be some that install into .mod files in the module folder and if one of those caused the problem you wouldn't know. But the most likely cause is the installation over an older version. A list of your mods might still help though.

So i encountered the problem real problem and i figured out that with your tip to autosave and then autoload i killed them and then my game triggered

Geverick but he was invicible and when i try to attack him the game crashes here is the picture of my problem:

(P.S can i avoide the battle and get out of the enclave or it is going to affect the story and the game?)13334522_272901553061098_1908922989_o.pn

You can avoid it entirely. All that matters in the sublevel is that you find out Vrook is in the cave. All you're losing out on is some XP, which is fine anyways, as enemies scale along with you
