List of K1R Compatible Mods.

Can anyone tell me if Recruitable Kay is compatible with K1R?  Kay replaces Juhani in the party picker

Depending on whether Inyri accounted for cut content (can't blame her if she didn't), some K1R stuff (namely the post-Leviathan scene) could be interesting...

Hello! I've got a problem with the Revan's Jedi Robes mod: I've seen that the file "lev40_carth.dlg" creates a problem: when the Ebon Hawk is captured by Leviathan Carth cannot start his dialogue to decide who saves the team (the one in the central room of the EH). Instead I hear Bastila phrase "This isn't over Malak" (wich she says at the end of Leviathan battle) and I'm stuck with all characters in the Ebon Hawk. 

 

Since I have the italian version of the game, the problem could arise from that, but I thought it would better to warn you. Removing the file in question resolves the problem. (the mod I installed on this game are: Classes feats power and skill tweaks, Lightsaber and force forms, the Shields Fix and, obviously, Restoration 1.1)

Hi,
I want to start a new game with some mods compatible with the K1R.
The npc overhaul mod still not compatible?
Is there a way to make it compatible or chose what npcs change?
Is the npc overhaul mod compatible with K1R +solomon's revenge?

There were a mod called gamorrean stronghold restoration mod.
It's a cut contenent, but there aren't trace on the list of NR in the K1R.
It's because make problems with the story or have missing animations?
No way to make it compatible?

I'm a little confuse, there are so many great mods that it's difficult to choose and understand their compatibility..

Yeah don't use the Gammorean Stronghold mod with K1R. I used it a few years ago before K1R existed. It's really not all that exciting to be honest.

 

Your best bet would be to use K1R. NPC Overhaul's compatibility is still in the works.

Is the NPC Overhaul's compatibility in working progress? there are no sign of activity.

The issue isn't in the 2da file?

Also i hope that i could add other mod skins for the companions once will be out.

 

 solomon revange it's ok with K1R but with npc overhaul will be also ok ?

Yes the NPC Overhaul compatibility is a work in progress. I don't know the exact status or where the issues lie. Lots of nefarious things going on behind the scenes around here (=

im having an issue getting the download for this MOD, the file i get is 7z. and I dont know how to open it!

I will be writing up a new pinned thread soon, I think... :)

 

Google "7zip" and download that program. Once it's installed, you'll notice that "7zip..." has been added to your right-click menu when browsing your files. You'll need to right-click the .7z file (also works with .zip and .rar) and go to "7zip..."->"Extract Files..." and then either adjust your settings or just hit "Ok". You'll now have a new folder wherever your file is and your extracted files will be in there.

Erm, would it be against the site rules to actually tell where you can get 7-Zip from, instead of just telling to Google it? I mean, it's always best to download a program from its official site, and frankly, Google can send you to some really suspicious ones if you're not careful enough...

I haven't tried it, but I can say that you'd be missing the content on the Endar Spire and a lot of restored content on Taris...

The thing is, i already played taris and dantooine with the restoration mod, but i delete my save by accident, that's why i'm using that, thanks for the response

I just played through most of SilverEdge9's Brotherhood of Shadow and I suspect it is not compatible with K1R.

 

 

Spoiler Alert!

 

There's a cutscene that is supposed to trigger after you wake from a mind attack from Ark Sin and you meet up with Me'chanic. I watched a BOS video to verify what scene is supposed to trigger. In my case, it does NOT trigger and I end up being trapped with Verbal and unable to leave the temple at all. I end up being blocked by Brotherhood of Shadow members and cannot proceed. If I try leaving the room and re-entering, I just see the same exact "waking up" scene and see a duplicate of Verbal. It is an endless loop. I have tried reloading the game and going back to previous save files to play through again and solve the problem. Nothing has worked.

 

I installed the K1R mod BEFORE installing BoS. I have the KOTOR 1 Steam version.

 

I am very disappointed. I like the mod's story and gameplay, however,  the bugs, glitches, and now the doom bug is really making me regret playing through it. :(

Hm, I didn't have that problem when I tested compatibility... Only game breaking thing I had was once when the game crashed at a certain point, but that was fixed on a second try.

I believe Lillyarch is working on making BOS compatible with K1R... all you need is patience

Thanks for the replies! I might try to give it another go from an older save file and maybe it will work, not sure. Part of the reason I even made this post (newly registered in fact) is that I really like the mod and I really want all the problems with it to be fixed, hence my frustration. Btw, this thread is awesome. I have played through the game multiple times without mods, and now again with mods. Definitely feels like a totally new experience.

But, am playing right now, and many Juhani dialogues were missing with the K1R alone. For example, when she explains to Revan, very angry, the horrible that was the destruction of Taris, because of Bastila. She is very angry about it, you know?

 

Until now, it doesn't appears that they are incompatible. But, if someone knows something about it... could be great to know.

 

 

Probably not the best idea to mix other/older restoration mods with this one. Could be conflicts present that you may not realize.

 

I used to use the Dialogue Pack myself; however, I feel it isn't necessary anymore with K1R.

 

Perhaps others could lend more credence as to how the two relate to each other.

 

 

Well, whicever is installed last will override the party member dialogues from the one that's installed earlier. I'm quite sure K1R drops at least some of those into the Override folder.

 

The last time I played KOTOR, K1R was, I think, 1.0.  So, naturally, I did a fresh install, yada, yada, yada. 

 

I love the added lines from Allronix's Dialogue Pack, so I decided to just put it in after K1R.  A risk, I know but I figured any file name conflicts would flag immediately.  I only got a conflict with Juhani's dialog file.  I installed both 'Crew' and 'Scenes'.

 

Now, do take that with the grain of salt that I have yet to complete a full playthrough with the mods as they are (and I also have quite the list of mods *anyway*).  But, at least on the surface, they should play nice.

There is a problem during the installation of the BOS mod.

 

Error: Unhandled exception: Cannot create file "C:\Users\Uzytkownik\Downloads\bos_sr_1.0\backup\modules\ship.mod".

 

Dunno what to do...
