Rogue Employee Quest

I got the 'Rogue Employee' quest from the Industrial Zone's Maintenance Unit but I have no idea what I'm supposed to do with it? How do I move this quest forward?

I have the same problem. I've tried talking with every droid on the planet about everything but it doesn't move quest forward. Maybe its because i received this quest late, after completing the whole planet?

Did you talk to the droids in the area where you get the droid schematics? The droid you're looking for is there.

I don't know what i need to do aswell.I know that after you get the quest you need to talk to the nearly damaged construction droid or something.He will want from you 6000 credits.Lol.After that i dunno what needs to be done.Talking to the maintinence unit doesn't work either.

 

EDIT:After i talked to the nearly destroyed piece of junk(ROFL),i went into the Research and Development section(Where they Research and Develop Lol) and found a maintinence unit-like droid(the ones with many spare arms XD).After all you are searching for one such.Lol.Talk to him and see what will hapen on...

Hello, here I am years later stuck in the same quest... which damage droid are you refering to? The only droid to request money so far was the black market one and I didi not enter the enviromental zone yet but I have talked with the industrial zone archon already, the passage is open

 

 

EDIT: ok, i did not find anything similar to a droid asking money or a neraly destroyed droid but after I talked with the Eviromental Archon the Rogue Employee droid showed up at one of the large computers screens on the area just before the entrance to the Industrial Archon... that area with the sarcastic protocol droid... and now I have the Data Transfer quest and I am not being able to complete it either

 

EDIT 2: solved... if you got the quest before talking to Kaah inside the eviromental archon  room, you just have to keep playing until you reactivate and finish talking with M4-78. Vash and Kaah wil be there but you won't be able to speak with nobody about the Data Transfer quest. Once the plot finishes go back to the Rogue Employee droid on the same spot and tell him you couldn't get Kaah's help. The Data Transfer quest will end there.
