I've been on break ever since the 15th of January. My break ends on Monday, and I think I know how to do the installer now.

 

Yay! *Hugs* 

 

I'd be dead in a ditch by now if it wasn't for Kotor 2 mods.

Okay, I'm finally getting around to fixing this mod, but there are some really basic things that I need to know, and I can't go by assumptions at this point:

 

1. Where in Vanilla + TSLRCM does G0-T0 appear in ALL of his instances?

2. Where in M4-78EP does G0-T0 appear in ALL of his instances?

3. What end-game events can occur in Vanilla + TSLRCM that involve G0-T0, and what are the possibilities?

4. What end-game events can occur in M4-78EP that involve G0-T0, and what are the possibilities?

5. Where do all of G0-T0's droids (that look just like him) appear besides 351NAR and 352NAR (G0-T0's Yacht, both cutscene and actual level)?

1. His Yacht, post-Yacht cutscenes, Ebon Hawk, Dxun Revisited, Malachor. That's pretty much it I think.

2. The opening cutscene in 801DRO.

3. It's pretty much Malachor.

4. Nothing what-so-ever.

5. Nowhere else that I know.

If we're going to include that, the list will get very long.

But since he's a partymember at that point, rather than placeable I don't think they count.

IIRC, G0-T0 has unique dialogue on Onderon if you hack the vending droid in his presence. Does that count?

HH is right in that he's already a party member at that point. Mostly, I'm trying to track down all of his different .utc files to see and make sure that I edit everything right in the installer in such a way that I don't overwrite files in the game by putting them in override.

The G0-t0 overhaul was a mod back around 2014 that turned goto into one of general grievous' body guards.

The reason why I am asking as to why the link is broken or why I want to know what happened to it is because this is oviously a must have plus you need the restoration mod making it a another reason to download

M4-78 wasn't affected in the least. Just end-game behavior on Malachor. And as the second link says, I'm needing beta testers for the newest version. One tester found no problems, and waiting for the other to reply back.

So glad its been updated!

I'm trying to install it but I get  " Error: Buffer overflow while reading 2DA cell entry. This is very bad. (2DA-6)" whenever it tries to install the feats.2da  for the main installation... any idea whats going on here?

I've just scoured the TSLPatcher code and I haven't seen a message like that, so all I can recommend is try running it as an admin (and possibly copying the feats.2da file to your Override folder if you do not have a feats.2da file there already.

Hmmm! How strange! I was talking to a guy in the chat rooms and he has also never seen something like this... either way we managed to fix it, just backed up my old override folder and let the installer make a new one and then just copied over the new feats.2da... this being said however, we've found a new problem... when trying to install the other sections of the mod it seems that the installer is trying to find the .mod file for nar shadar... I'm running the game on steam and it seems that such a file is no longer present within the game files... guess using this mod just wasn't meant to be :( unless the file is missing as a result of a faulty installation...  furthermore the installing the malachor stuff also doesn't seem to work either...

Okay, now those issues I do know the cause of... As stated on the mod's download page and forum thread, it's been designed to work with and require TSLRCM be installed. I don't personally see anything that would make it absolutely required to have TSLRCM, but as a patcher I didn't want to change that note in the mod.

 

The .mod files are missing because you do not have TSLRCM installed (or you're using the Steam Workshop version and need to direct the installers to TSLRCM's Workshop folder). They could have been included in the installer, except that they would have been changing someone's game possibly against their wishes (as I would have packed either unmodded versions of the levels, thus screwing up TSLRCM, or TSLRCM versions of the levels, thus possibly screwing up someone's mods).
