More Vibrant Skies

Ever wonder how it feels to run from level to level and look at nearly every sky texture border to make sure that every pixel matches?.. I sure do now.

My goal was to make all of the skyboxes look more "alive" by changing certain values in photoshop to getting rid of the twilight/grey color palette that was used. The only skybox I actually repainted the entirety was dxun to make it look like the player was actually in a thunderstorm and not those grey wispy things. (there were two zones and each required their own texture)

I also provided options if you don't want the moon and/or planet on the background on Dxun and two variations on the suns of Dantooine and Telos.

(Also included is a small .txi file that makes the girders outside Telos Station more visible and less like paper mache`)

Hopefully they make Kotor II more visually appealing than the original game did.

Sith Stalker Armor

ok so this is my first mod to kotor 2 TSL its the sith stalker armor the ultimate evil look in TFU (the force unleashed) I had much fun rigging the armor and hope you guys like it and I will be planing on making more TFU armors

here is alittle bit on what the armor is about:

Sith stalker armor, painfully grafted onto the wearer's flesh and bone, was meant to transform dark side disciples into powerful Sith assassins. It had an intimidating appearance that was designed to inspire fear in any enemy. Rather than utilize gauntlets, stalker armor instead replaced the vast majority of the hands with prostheses, though some flesh remained, allowing the user to apply Force lightning in combat without fear of it backfiring. The prostheses featured a set of metal claws attached to the finger tips. Despite their considerable length, they did not appear to cause any inconvenience on the part of the wearer, though this was likely just a result of practiced use.

so anyhow credit goes to Shiftee (model), Deadman (installation), UberBlack (texture) and Reapper *me* (rigging)

usage of the mod: you can use it anyway you want just give the guys shiftee, deadman, uberblack, and me credit if you plan to modified it in any way.

TOR Series Saber Mod

TOR Series Saber Mod
for TSL
Version 2.0
Patchable

Authors: Qui-Don Jorn & Deadman
This Version: April 2012
===================================

This saber mod now consists of 18 hilts - each in 10 colors, all of which are buildable on the workbench. The first set of 6 hilt styles are available to build as you are building your first saber with the vanilla saber quest. Then, once you've leveled up with an Advanced Class, there will be 12 more hilt style options. Some of these hilt models are leftovers from the HotOR Lightsaber mod, which fell upon hard times and was unable and unwilling to continue - but alas! A new lightsaber mod has risen from it's ashes, and most of the hilts were modeled based on TOR sabers.
The vanilla game dialogs about Bao-Dur helping you build your saber have been removed, since you build it yourself on the workbench using any default game crystal. As well, the vanilla game's Lightsaber Quest journal entries have been modified to go with this saber quest better.
Once you have built a new lightsaber, the crystal will change into the specific crystal for that lightsaber, so once you commit to a new lightsaber style, it's crystal is bound to that saber hilt. Also, the training sabers now do 1-10 damage, still with their +3/+4 energy field damages, to try and make them more worthwhile to use. Two new models have been included for the purple and yellow training sabers.

You must run the TSL Patcher to fully install (aside from the lightsabers, copying files to Override folder will *not* work).

Compatible with TSLRCM 1.7/1.8.
Compatible with everything that dosen't use the same lightsaber model numbers. *This excludes HotOR and USM from being compatible.
Compatible with Default Replacement MegaPack 4.1 or better.
Compatible with Workbench Crystal Attunement Mod.
Compatible with RandomSabers 6 Pack.

Credits: -Darth_Deadman, for finishing off the training sabers and making them powered items that turn on and off like a lightsaber. Thanks Deadman.
-Markus Ramikin, Varsity Puppet, Hassat Hunter for the Workbench Crystal Attunement mod.

Bugs: None that I know of, if you get one then pm me and I'll fix it.

Bith Musician Items

Who hasn't found it entertaining to play with the Bith's four instruments you can cheat to get in the game? Sure it made no sense that they shot blaster bolts from your feet, there was just something funny about them! This was originally just meant as a fun mod to make use of those items, but it's expanded to more than that. I researched actual Star Wars music and instruments and matched each instrument from the game to the closest one I could find, giving them better names and backgrounds than 'Bith Clarinet' and such. Three of them are based on the sonic rifle and the last is a pistol. I fixed the models so they fit better in the actual player's hands, and I made a custom ammunition; They shoot music staffs with changing music notes on them, doing sonic damage, as they play music clips from Star Wars. Now the part I'm rather proud of (Humbly, of course ); there's a chance of stun on all the weapons, but instead of being stunned, the enemies break out in dance! I also made a second version of each instrument, called 'broken' instruments, that you simply use as melee instruments to beat enemies. I tried to make all the weapons powerful enough to be fun even later in the game, but not be God items. I kept going with the Bith theme, and made a new armor called 'Bith Musician Suit' that makes you look like you're wearing the uniform the Bith musicians in the game wear, to complete your dreams of being a Star Wars cantina musician. It isn't as protective as armor but I think the stats are fair and make up for it. There are also two extra items I included just for fun, they're not actually for player use but they're part of the storyline I'll add in a later version. They are holographic versions of two of the weapons.
As of now you have to cheat to get any of the items. I am still in the process of working this mod, but because it's taking a while I'm releasing just the items, rather than waiting an unknown amount of time for everything to be finished. Things to look forward to in future updates include: A fairly detailed storyline, including a new quest, leading to the aquirement of each of the items through three planets, with new characters, including the crime boss Jawa the Hutt; New musical themed items, such as earplugs; A holo-terminal having special uses, including obtaining new armors; And more!

[k1]Vibrosword replacement pack

This is just a K1 version of my Vibrosword replacement pack, so I will quote the original description:

Quote

I've got tired of standart ingame vibroswords and was looking for mods which will replace them with high(er) quality models.
While looking for KotOR models I've found an intresting mod for Jedi Academy made by RevanDark which added tons of new weapons. I especially liked the look of 'Cyber Ninja' swords and I thought it will be great to have such swords in KotOR...

So, this mod will replace standart vibroswords with cool "Cyber Ninja" swords. I've managed to convert models and re-create glowing effect for the blades.
Mod will not change stats of weapons.

Credit goes to RevanDark for creating original JA models.

Holocron Icon Replacement

This is a really small and slightly pedantic fix, which changes the icons for the two holocrons you find in KotOR,
so that one (on Tatooine) looks like a Jedi Holocron, and the other, found on Korriban, looks like a Sith Holocron.

Previously, th two had a generic icon which looked nothing at all like a holocron, and as I was working on a mod
which needed a holocron for it, I decided to alter the two items while I was at it. At some point, I may make a similar
mod for KotOR II.

Please note that this mod doesn't use the TSLPatcher, so any mod which alters either holocron will be incompatible.
To fix this, open the .uti file for the holocron using KotOR Tool, change the "model variation" to the number of
the holocron model (i.e., 087 for the Jedi holocron, 088 for the Sith one), and save.

Also, the mod uses plot useable item icon slots 87 and 88 for the Jedi and Sith holocrons respectively, so any mod
which uses these icon slots for a different purpose will be incompatible. To fix this, simply rename the icons to a high enough number that they don't conflict with the other mod any more
(e.g., to ip_pltuseitm_090), and then open the .uti file using KotOR Tool, change the "model variation" to that number,
and save.

Darksword

This adds a new weapon, called a darksword, to the game. It is slightly less powerful
than a lightsaber (base damage 2-14 [2d7], +1-4 electrical damage), and is what was used
before the lightsaber was invented, particularly by the Sith. You will find the weapon
(if you look hard enough) on the Harbinger. I’m not going to say where, so if you want it,
be sure to check all over and not miss any compartments if possible. :)

The mod is inspired by ChAiNz.2da’s Darksword mod for KotOR II, which he released back in 2005.
While it’s a cool mod, I was never satisfied with the way the electrified blade looked in that
mod, so I made this mod to rectify that.
